Have you used a d-pad recently? Those things feel fucking awful after so many years with analog. I tried playing Symphony of the Night on my PS3, but unlike with a PSP, you can't remap the controls, so you're stuck using a d-pad. Well, that was a blast, in that I could not get used to the fucking thing again. Felt so strange not controlling my direction freely.
It is not like riding a bicycle.
I use a d-pad all the time, especially for 2d sidescrollers that require precise inputs.
I'm not doing innuendo anymore... I'm tossing away sex jokes to talk nerd instead.
Surprise! Metroid Bastball is pretty terrible.

To be fair, though, if you're buying Madden/NHL/NBA/etc 2kwhatever, you know what you're getting.
If I'm buying something with Metroid in the title, I don't want fucking FIFA.
Good thing they tacked on that Evolve-style cooperative game that no one wants.
Speaking of terrible, I watched the Mad Max: Eye of the Storm gameplay demo. All that complex car combat they talk about ... looks like a lot of car shoving. Maybe the more complex stuff isn't ready yet, but the game comes out into two months.
It's WB, so it's probably just the batmobile gameplay with a new skin, will have half a dozen different "exclusive" pre-order packages, and will be a broken and buggy mess on release, which they will ignore to work on more DLC.
Yet it will still sell millions and be generally liked by gamers ,despite gamer media giving it only 7s and 8s.
Except the PC version, unless it gets nixed, because the people who use Steam have been quite aware of how easy it is to get a refund these days.

I remember aaaaaaallllll the way back to the Commodore 64, the Bruce Lee game would not let you get away with starting the second player and letting it sit there idle. If no one wiggled the player 2 joystick, after a few seconds, the CPU would take over anyway.

I literally only have one complaint so far, they don't use the old show's gun sound effects. Transformers had some of the absolute best sounding pew pew noises ever and they don't sound like they're even trying to emulate them. Sad.
For example, the regular Autobot sound effect:

Ken's been revealed for Street Fighter V, and at first you might think "yeah okay who's surprised?"
From the look of things, not only does he have a totally new visual style, but his playstyle is looking more unique compared to his previous "faster Ryu with fire" style. I've been playing Ken in everything he's been a character in since SFII, so this is pretty exciting.

One of the things I've read is that they don't want clone characters, so the shoto-squad are all probably going to play significantly differently. Also, that trailer ends with what I assume is an Akuma-tease.

I guess every character's been announced in pairs, basically (Ryu/Chun Li, Bison/Charlie, Birdie/Cammy), so odds are we'll hear who this new guy is sooner rather than later.
The dreadlock-y hair makes me think no, and I don't think he was ever a popular character, but then Capcom's never given much of a crap what fans want so who knows?
