As an aside, the very first time I ever did Hard Rain was on hard, because my husband and our friend deemed normal to be too easy. I recall getting the achievement for not aggroing any witches, but beyond that I was in a state of terror the whole time.

Yeah, that was me... Dei had JUST gotten done explaining about the number of witches on the map, when out of the corner of my eye was my wife, in a pale grey tank top, hair draped around her face. Scared the piss out of me.

Speaking of, I'll be around Friday this weekend, but not Saturday, as my usual Friday shenanigans have been bumped back a day this week.

I know this is from a couple of pages back, but in my experience cr0wning a Witch is much easier if you approach from behind aim for her back, not her head. You have a better chance of getting all of your shotgun pellets to hit, since the back is a bigger target, and if you have an auto shotty then the damage output will still be enough to kill her, before she gets up and starts swiping. Might take more than one shot, but it'll do the job.
