I'll never understand Cartoon Network sometimes... they hated Megas XLR and Symbionic Titan SO MUCH that they've completed written the shows off legally and can never do anything with them again. They don't even know who owns the rights anymore or even care.
LOVED Megas XLR, and watching Downtown it was super weird seeing a universe where Goat got layed all the time. And yes Cartoon Newtwork hates robots for some reason.

I am always surprised by how clever this show is, but also by how surprisingly dark it is. It doesn't pull punches about anything that happens on the show.

Like gunning down that last parasite and it turning out to be real. On any other show that would be a throw away gag but here you get to see the panicked look on everyone's faces as he slowly dies, while Morty's Mom sobs as she shakily pours another glass of wine, trying to forget it ever happened. That's SO completely fucked up.
First airing is while I'm driving to work, and of course my only customers of the night so far were during the second. I'll have to catch up on the bits I missed when I get home.
The only way it could have been darker would have been if Joss Whedon was involved with the show -- the joke would have been finding out that a regular character was a parasite all along and then killing them.

Two eps I'm looking forward to are "Kiki's Delivery Service"(About TIME she got some development) and "Monster Reunion" as there's a HIGH chance Centipeetle will be in it because of that name...or Steven will pop all the monster bubbles and they all become chibi-monsters- EITHER WAY I'm cool.

To be perfectly honest, nothing beats...
Morty almost getting raped by King Jelly Bean in "Meeseeks and Destroy". At the same time, Rick had probably one of the most legitimately heartwarming moments in the series when he made that fucking jelly bean PAY. Really, as often as they portray attempted rapes in this show (3 and counting, plus the one where Summer's boyfriend mentions he'd been violated before), at least it's never FUNNY when it happens.
Okay, we've started Rick and Morty and I'm all onboard for this shit.
It's impossible for me to not say FUCK YEAH whenever I see him shoot that beany bastard. I also like that after the nastiness, Rick was REALLY nice to Morty, my favorite episodes of any character are the ones where they can show themselves being the opposite of what they are.

Hell, I just watched the first episode and it sold me.
Someone doesn't watch the after credits scenes.
The pre-intro had me laughing just because I've seen that villain motivation many times.
And surprise in the credits--Dan Harmon is the co-creator.
Although now with all these spoilers, I'm feeling like non-Steven Universe watchers must feel.

I don't understand what you mean, the full Season 1 DVD/Blurays have been out for a while, and Amazon sells the entire first season for streaming (I know because I bought it).
