Theres a girl on my facebook who posted a picture that said: "some girls our age make me want to go hug my mom and thank her for the way she raised me."

In high school, she wrote on a bus "for a good time call..." with her real number.

Me too. Mine are old concert shirts.
a long time morning show radio host "spear chucker" remarked yesterday morning that he had seen "retro vintage reproduction concert t-shirts" He owned the orginal t-shirts that he bought at the respective concerts when the said tour made it to minnesota 40 years ago.

That's funny. When I posted last night I was trying to find a picture of my Guns N Roses shirt (I got it when they opened for Aerosmith right before headlining their own tour) and I ran into the retro/vintage reproduction shirts. It made me feel old.

You know, I own a lot of sets of allen wrenches that are missing the exact one I need for my serger. What a coincidence. :dumb:

3mm is Ikea's standard, right? They usually have a free extra parts bin at the front of the store if you have one on the way home.

I have no idea what size I need in metric, you people are weird.

Also, the nearest IKEA is an hour away down I-25, so that isn't happening.

what I should really do is rig some kind of anti theft chain to connect them. ;)
You may laugh, but I know a number of people use retractable pen holders for this type of situation:

Amazon product

Just attach the string to the tool, and the adhesive backed string holder to the back of the serger out of the way and you'll never be without the allen wrench again. The one I've linked releases the tension until you tug it again, which is nicer for tool usage than the cheaper ones that are always pulling on the tied item.

"Retractable pen holder" --> lightweight things you want stuck to a flat surface (attach via adhesive)
"Retractable badge holder" --> lightweight things you want to clip to a loop, belt, or rope (attach via clip)
"Retractable keyring" --> heavy things, you have to figure out the attachment yourself (larger tools attached to drill presses, etc)

...huh.

That moment when you're pretty sure Back to the Future inspired you to write books.

Remember at the end when Marty's dad is delivered a big box filled with copies of his newly published book?

I think that was an inspiration for me to write books. Because I wanted a moment like that.

Funny that I have this epiphany on the same day copies of Dame arrived in the mail today.
