I just got told it's a pleasure to watch me move, because of my grace and poise. I have absolutely no idea how to respond to that, the average reaction to my movement is "oh god stay away from the * clang* don't drop the *crash* just please stay over there and don't move"

I actually rather meant to imply the lass had a gravelly voice. After all, she's finding beauty in one his perceived flaws, he should do the same.

Dunno, perception is a hell of a thing. Every once in a while someone will swoon or compliment my accent (one of my friends' girlfriends blushes whenever I roll my r's...), which is usually described as cryptic and unappealing.

I want to make an AMA so I can be like the cool kids. Since I'm at the end of the semester and my brain is mush, I want to name it "Don't ask me shit because I have no fucking clue," which kind of defeats the purpose of an AMA.

Also, I'm really tired.

I watched a bird fly in the same place (because of the wind I guess) for 20 minutes. This bird was flapping like crazy too. All the while other birds were flying past it with ease. It made my whole day.

I subscribed to a youtube channel of a guy doing interesting projects, such as making a grill by welding old propane canisters together, etc.

He apparently has bought into the whole "world is on the precipice of doom" thing, and is now making videos about how he's preparing for the coming apocalypse. I hear the DIY spiked club is going to come in very handy in the near future:

So if you ever wanted to know how to drive nails through a piece of wood, here's your guide.[DOUBLEPOST=1449837322,1449837047][/DOUBLEPOST]Well he even has a DIY weapon playlist. There's a warhammer on there for those interested in that sort of thing:

Had a gig yesterday and it went well, but was still kind of a disaster. There were 200+ people and they were loud, inattentive, and did not bother adhering to any rules of the game show. It was very hard to hear anything and my voice is gone. It was physically draining.

And now today I'm sicker than shit. I even missed my Christmas party tonight, which is a black tie formal affair. My wife is disappointed, but she knows it's not really my fault.

I just quit the Facebook group Omaha Atheists. I've been a member for some time, but I just got fed up today. Seems the group has decided to reserve all the spaces in front of the capital building in Lincoln to put up secular displays. I have no problem with that, but they did so over the Christmas holiday specifically to block christians from putting up a nativity display. I think this is a dick move. Why not share the space and be inclusive? I was told basically that I should have volunteered to plan said event (although I was never asked) or I should just back them. I told them that I was not following anyone blindly and to pound sand.

When the organization you join becomes the organization you are fighting against, it's time to quit.

The current breed of atheist is so vocal and demonstrative, it's almost like a... a... religion! [emoji3]
