This is getting played during my christmas party, I don't care how confused my family is.
I think it's that some people enjoy watching paint dry, and this is a whole level above it.
On the other hand, it could be like super-tasters. Something you might find under-seasoned or bland could be rich and flavorful to them.
Or there's context and background you and I don't have which lends amusement to the experience.

It's referencing the "Yule log" program that used to run on tv during christmas time, of nothing but a crackling fireplace burning for an hour on repeat.
It's a portmanteau of Ron Swanson and Nick Offerman, creating a hurricane of awesome and manliness.

Someone once gave me a dvd of the yule log as a joke. Joke's on them: I do put it on some Christmas mornings!
I think the best part of this video is the music. They somehow made Star Wars music sound like the BGM from a 16 bit console game. I could seriously imagine hearing that music while I play something like Sonic the Hedgehog.

It's also mentioned in the video at one point that the dude getting touched is gay, I am guessing so that he doesn't get a stiffy while he's being manhandled by the women.
