Personally I think it looks fun. If the trailer's anything to go by the focus is on the Turtles, as opposed to humans, and there's a lot more action and nods to the franchise's history. I'm willing to give it a shot.
I mean, really, the first one was at least okay in its worst parts, unlike most of the Transformers movies, so I'm not ready to shoot the sequel down yet.

Ok, one small, niggling thing that's been bothering me about the trailer.
"What if Superman had decided to fly down, rip off the roof of the White House, grab the President right out of the Oval Office? Who would've stopped him?"
As if any of the members of the Suicide Squad could stop him? I mean, Enchantress maybe, but even then that's only a maybe.

Really that's no one; Superman is unstoppable. I think they just mean they should have a contingency plan for future issues and Superman was the only example at the moment since not much has been established in this DC universe.

Ehhh magic seems to be the loophole. He's often depicted as being not invulnerable to magic.
Until he is.
I've never seen him be portrayed as not susceptible to magic to some degree... but then again, I don't follow his comics ether.

Huh. I'm surprised at the negative reactions. This looks a lot like the original cartoon, and even has shoutouts to the toy line, with the van that shoots manhole covers.
All of that stuff was great, up until the turning human plot line, which seems in the trailer to be a big portion of the plot and is just dumb.
I think it was less about budget and more that Toho wanted him to be bigger than Legendary's Godzilla. I'm just relieved to see the suit; there were rumors they were ditching the suit that got leaked and going full-CGI.
Thick hide, AND Regenerator G-1, bullets are less than insects to him.
