Well, if memory serves, he wasn't really at the beginning, but he became "born again" or something, which is why he could do the mojo later.I mean, the show has clearly diverged pretty hard at this point so anything is possible. ALSO, did you call Thoros a true believer? Because lol.
Having played a Friar in DAOC, I am aghast at your misspelling.Less Born Again, more "Oh shit, dragons are back, magic works again!"
I won't say he didn't believe in the Red God, but he was more Fryer Tuck than anything.
I thought you meant...Ok, that one I blame autocorrect for, because I know I spelled it right.
That is what she meant, and that is spelled Friar.I thought you meant...

The only thing I can really think of is that the power required to maintain her glamor of youth limits her in other areas, such as raising the dead. Maybe that's why she looked so conflicted and torn all through the episode before she finally took the jewel off and reverted - she was debating whether to maintain her appearance, or to sacrifice her apparent youth and beauty to re-raise her max mana cap to where it's supposed to be, so she'll have the juice to cast rez?
So then at the end she took one last long look at her beauty in the mirror, took off the jewel, reverted to her true form, then went to bed to med up or something.
Iono.
I am shocked that you think everyone watches this show.I am shocked that there are not a bunch of OMG posts here tonight.
He's a dog gone son of a bitch, isn't he.God I fucking hate Ramsey.
You aren't alone. I remember watching the first episode after being a huge fan of the books for years and I came away disappointed. Don't worry, it gets much better.Okay, I'm not reading this thread, but I just watched the first episode. Like as in the very first. I hate to be the voice of dissent, because I am not doing it on purpose, but I am hoping the first episode is not representative. It was kind of boring, and I'm a huuuuge fantasy fan. There were long periods of nothing really happening, and all the key plot points were telegraphed from about 3 miles away. Also, apparently everyone has sex with the women naked and the men completely clothed.
If Bran and/or Rickon aren't the big saviours in the end, I know what chapters I'm not rereading later onI still think Bran is going to be the character that will save the day.
If this story will be wrapped up in 2.5 seasons or 2 books, things better get moving.
Since the show runners have avoided the Ironborn for so long, that story will really have to get going to catch up.
The first season is... Not great. It's not bad after you get through the pointless sexpositions. But it will be good for fapping.Okay, I'm not reading this thread, but I just watched the first episode. Like as in the very first. My biggest concern for last night's episode was
that Tyrion was going to go the way of Quentyn Martell.
That said, no one posted OMGs in this thread because everyone knew how that episode would end.
I was thinking last night, that the actor is just dripping in charisma, and that he should have a long history of being a character actor villain.Am I a terrible person for liking Ramsay? Not the wacky hijinks he gets up to, but just the way he's acted. He has a razor sharp wit and always has an answer to everything. He's like a Medieval Bond villain.
