All it requires is a modicum of civility and respect for women!
Riiight. I like how you glossed over the fact I called Bill a dick. Guess I don't respect men, either. Or maybe it's just individuals I don't respect. Could that be it? Nah. It must be all women.

You really sound monotone because you only have one note and that's all you play.

I don't question that you love men because of your impassioned defense of masculinity, among other things
Both masculinity and femininity deserve to be defended. Neither is inherently better or worse. But I don't expect you to get that because you get so dizzy up there on that high white horse.

white horse is one of my top-5 Taylor Swift songs.

anyways, i'm gonna go early vote this week in the primary and I can't decide if I'll vote in the Republican or Democrat one :(

It's kind of surreal to see half the conversation because I have Charlie on ignore, though after a post or two it's like, "Oh, right. That's why."

Her first album is okay, but slightly problematic

So go and tell your friends that I'm obsessive and crazy
That's fine I'll tell mine that you're gay

Fearless is where she really comes into her own as a songwriter. Speak Now is... okay too. I'm not going to throw it on to listen all the way through anymore. And then Red and 1989 are both different kinds of masterpieces.

But then the other night, I dabbled in watching the Republican National Convention the same way a child might dabble with trying out mom’s cigarettes or a college girlfriend might dabble in trying out anal sex — with an innocent curiosity that was quickly overwhelmed by shock, horror, and intense pain.
One does not dabble in cigarettes.

These are 4 things from the last week:

1. Trump criticized Tim Kaine for his tenure as Governor of New Jersey, a position he has never held. This is egregious for 2 reasons: Kaine was the Governor of Virginia, which is a different state, and considering that Trump is all buddy-buddy with the corrupt scandal-riddled sac of hogshit who is currently infesting Trenton, he's had no room to talk anyway! Trump was probably referring to Tom Kean, who was the Republican Governor of New Jersey from 1982 to 1990. Tom Kean was actually a very popular governor and won re-election in 1985 by a landslide. His successor, Jim Florio, not so much, though he did a fairly decent job.

2. GOP Pundits post to social media that they are confused and dismayed by "inclusive restrooms" at the DNC, meaning basically a unisex restroom that anyone is welcome to use regardless of gender / gender identity. The idea that it's a bathroom that anyone can use was apparently baffling. Sure, they'll be able to figure out a budget policy affecting hundreds of millions of Americans, but a shared bathroom? *head asplode*

3. Fox News viewers are freaking the fuck out that actor Bradley Cooper is at the DNC, because 2 years ago he played Chris Kyle in American Sniper. This apparently is a huge betrayal, as far as they are concerned.

4. The North Carolina GOP leadership criticized Tim Kaine for wearing a pin on his lapel during his speech. They identified it as "The Flag of Honduras."
The pin he was actually wearing is a "Blue Service Star" pin
, which is worn by family members of service members. His son is currently deployed Marine. North Carolina is the home of Fort Bragg, one of the largest military installations in the world.
