Ask Americans how much of a shit they give about what eating burgers does for their chances at a heart attack.
We love Red Meat so much, we're willing to look into growing it inside of labs in case changing climate conditions drive up the price of beef too much. We'd literally rather eat fake meat than eat less meat.
I question the capabilities of the reporter of that article. Makes the claim early in the article that PKG is by Nintendo.
Ehh... even many fans don't understand that Pokemon is a second party franchise, only about 1/3rd owned by Nintendo (GAMEFREAK and Creatures Inc. own the rest). And Nintendo has stakes in Nintiac, so they are essentially a second party as well. It is and always has been presented as a NINTENDO product.
I feel like this is deserving of further study, preferably something government-funded.
Well, at least we're not Brazil.

Lazy reporting. Nintendo does not appear when you open the app, the story is about the app. Opening page is Niantic and "The Pokemon Company," Nintendo logo is not to be found. If Nintendo appeared on that opening I would ignore it, but you have to go into setting and "About Pokemon Go" to find Nintendo's name.
Learning about things and sharing that information is literally a reporter's job
But since they're looking for a conspiracy, Nintendo's involvement being nearly, but not completely hidden, feeds into the paranoia, makes the story more legit because the readers can go hunt down that Nintendo copyright notice and feel the whole story is true. That writer deserves a promotion.

Yet another illustration of how the lion's share of the "reason to vote for Hillary" is "Trump is satan." And vice versa, of course. Heck, both parties even tried to pull Cindy Sheehan 2.0, but the media ignored the RNC's bereaved parent and did everything possible to signal boost the DNC's version.
That narrative falls flat when first, the GOP attacked Kaine for wearing the "flag of Honduras" when it was in fact a Blue Star pin. And second, when the Trump campaign asked for Congresspeople and Senators to back him up on his comments about the Khans, not one did. No one was recanting their endorsement of him, though.
I decided to watch the clock while I watched it. I figure about 60% of that was exclusively about the DNC. If you allow comparisons to the RNC as being on topic, then that percentage jumps up some. I don't think the side rant about Trump fairly took up most of the video.

I don't see how what I posted and what you posted are actually related. The "flag of honduras" line is a red herring, and Trump's comments about Khan do not negate the fact that the DNC trotted out the parent of a fallen soldier to toe their political line, same as the RNC did with Patricia Smith, and same as the Dems did with Cindy Sheehan during the Bush administration.
I have to say, by far the biggest signal booster of the Democrat's side came from Trump, feeling the need to insult the guy and his wife, thus causing all the media to report on it. Before that, most attention went to Michelle Obama's speech. Trump being Trump and the media loving it, meant the rest of the Republicans had to react to Khan as well, and so on.
With one hand they "trot out" like you say, and with the other attack the families of those who have served. You do know what a Blue Star pin is, right?

Of course I do. But it doesn't contradict that the use of grieving parents is a planned, premeditated tactic that both parties used.

Not at all. You're comparing unplanned reactions to premeditated strategy. It seems like you're trying to make a different point than I am.
Okay, both parties used this tactic, now and in the past. And I'm sure they will contine to do so in the future. Everyone can argue in circles all day long and nothing about that will change. That's pretty much business as usual these days.
But the result is that out of all the candidates, when faced with this tactic, it was Trump who proved just how unfit for the presidency he truly is. I am far from Dubya's biggest fan, but at least he didn't throw personal attacks at grieving families, even if they attacked him. Neither has Obama. Or Clinton. Hell, not even Cheney has stooped that low, and he's a Sith lord or something. Trump could have been an adult, just like the others, and suck it up and just express sympathy for the Khans. But no, since his emotional development stopped when he was a toddler, he got all butthurt and threw a public tantrum. Yet again.
Leaders should be calm under pressure and criticism, not behaving like a spoiled 2-year-old. This was a test of his leadership qualities and Trump failed it. He's a fucking embarassment. When he's not disparaging the religions of grieving families, he's attacking fire marshals for following fire codes. The dude is starting to come across as full-on crazy and if elected will probably join Kim Jong-Un in the list of "leaders who are insane megalomaniacs". Hillary may be a crook, but at least she acts like a sane adult with the capability for sympathy and complex thought and won't be an embarassment when representing America to the rest of the world.

Two things, one about this and the other because it's hilariously stupid. First, Trump tried to blame Obama/Clinton's policies for the death of their child. He died years ago during the Bush presidency.
Second, the fundraising stats have come out for July. This is what the Trump campaign put out. Okay, maybe not. I got no proof for that. But you could totally see it.

I feel bad for her, (beyond the obvious reasons). The Democrats used her and then basically threw her away once they got the presidency since being anti-war isnt the same as being a democrat.
Ohio purging it's voting records of infrequent voters in Democratic districts. Admittedly, they've been doing this for awhile, but it's always been the three biggest (Cuyahoga, Franklin, and Hamiliton, which contain Cleveland, Columbus, and Cinncinnati) that have been affected the most in recent years.
Just another in a long line of voter suppression tactics used here in the Buckeye State. Many of which didn't REALLY take off till they gutted the Voting Rights Act.
