[PC Game] Hearthstone (Practically Beta)

So much synergy!
It's a low-mana (zoo) one-attack (hobgoblin) demon (lots!) that finally makes it worthwhile to do discards if you were going to burn through your deck anyway. Just need to know if it will proc on discard event even if you have no cards in hand.

Wonder if this is targeted or random, though. It looks like it should be targeted.

Moroes looks like he'll be showing up in Zoolock, or anything involving Hobgoblin, Shadowcaster, or maybe Volazj.

Single player Tavern Brawl!

This is my first attempt:
Hearthstone Storming Stormwind with Mech Hunter.jpg


69 damage with my mech Hunter deck (10 turns, 12 minions killed). I might as well quit while I'm ahead, I'll never be able to lick that damage count.


It will be really easy to complete quests this week. As long as you don't concede, you'll get a win for this Brawl.

This brawl.

I want to know if anyone has managed to Priest the opponent into getting 7 of the 0/X taunt minions up, silencing them all, then just going to town* for the remainder of the match since they won't be able to attack nor block, and there won't be any room to summon anything else.
Clever of Blizzard to give Stormwind 10 or so extra cards so you can't mill it to death, too.

I assumed this brawl would belong to the Priests IF you could pull it off.
I also assume that many brawl decks out there have 1xHarrison Jones + 2xAcidic Swamp Ooze + 2xBloodsail Corsair.

I thought about it, but since I don't have him I couldn't try, and I don't know if the weapon will just get replaced later.
Also glad to see HysteriA is posting some more Hearthstone science vids.
Huh. I never got Cho'd when I played him.

I can answer this! The weapon gets replaced, but eventually just turns back into the base weapon, and the AI is pretty dumb about using any other weapons anyways.

(It got my Tirion once :( )

Yes Blizzard, I know that Priest success is all about stealing the other guy's stuff and then beating him to death with it, but that doesn't mean you should say, "Well we gave everyone else some awesome stuff, so go out there and steal it!"

The key to good priest is to play other decks cards, that way you can have some good ones

In more real news, I learned that the minion from Cat Trick isn't just a Jungle Panther, it's a Cat in a Hat


And a silent change in the recent patch was to increase the cost of a number of token minions. Finkle Einhorn, Murloc Scout, Sheep, Nerubian, Slime, Treant, Snake, & Spellbender have all had their costs increased by 1. This makes them worse if they're returned to your hand, but better if you're Recombobulating or Evolving them.

It also has that stupid card that can only be used if it's the only card on the field.
