Why are Tracer's hands bigger than her head??

It has a large set of athletic inspired rewards including new skins that will only be for the event, and will end on the 22nd. The picture GasBandit posted above is the three legendary skins added to the event for Tracer, Zarya, and Lucio. They also have flag inspired epic skins, some new voice lines, and a whole lot of sprays and icons.
So in other words, if you want to be leet like Tracer, you better play a whole lotta Overwatch over the next 3 weeks.

And it's pissed a lot of people off because you can't purchase the summer items with ingame currency, so either you get them at random (which is subject to duplicates etc as usual, and so far the only summer things I've gotten are player icons, beyond worthless) by the 22nd, or you don't get them. Which people are interpreting as a naked attempt to get people to pony up more real cash for lootboxes. Those people complained on the forum and blizzard replied "nah, bro, we're gonna keep doing it this way."
Exactly.
Whats more hilarious is that they made it so you can't purchase the special event items with coins. You only get them from random loot boxes during the event. Since they added nearly a hundred new random items that end in on the 22nd, they are basically forcing you to buy loot boxes if you want even a chance at all the rewards. They are going to make a lot of loot box money this month.

She bought them. They're a dollar a box, basically, discounted to $40 for 50.
This is why people are crying foul, as I said earlier.

Which means its probably updated once since then.
Oh yeah. I consider that payload/objective heal (once I learned what it was!) my payment for standing on the point when I'm in PUGs.

...a full day of work ahead of me.
BUT I have gotten the Zarya and Widowmaker Summer game skins so far.
It's my reward for staying up 3 hours past my bedtime, I guess.

Man I really hate Zarya right now.
I decided to put down some cash to try for the Summer Skins, as I wanted at least one of each before it ended and I am not really playing as much as I would like.
On the bright side, I succeeded, and got one of the Lucio and Tracer skins which means I got at least one of each summer legendary. I can end the event mostly happy.
On the "I want to burn out someones eyes" side of the scale, I got the red Zarya skin (the one I got at the start of the event) another 11 out of 50 times. While it gave me a lot of coins so I can buy a good 5 regular legendaries, I would much rather it been the summer skins I was missing.
