I'd post a certain Weird Al song here, but I prefer to stay on @Emrys good side instead. :p

Weasel Stomping Day?
Bad! <whapdook> Bad Sparhawk! <whapdook>

Yes, I am whipping you with a weasel. Now you go sit in that corner and think about what you've done.[DOUBLEPOST=1471576889][/DOUBLEPOST]
You said it, I didn't. Your funeral now. [emoji14]

This right here just goes to show the line between bravery and stupidity is as thin as that between madness and genius.

My weasels and I will track you down, and when we find you, we shall feast.

Which would you say goes best with BBQed Sparhawk - white or red wine?

"Because the Mexican food sucks north of here anyway." - Bowling for Soup, "Ohio."

(For non-Texans, "here," in this case, is Denton County, TX, which is the north part of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex)
Or Chinese food. Every Chinese friend I've had: "It's not real Chinese food. It's American food. I'll take you to a place that has the real stuff." Me: "This is good, but (maybe you'll hate me saying this) I also wouldn't call it wildly different from the Americanized stuff. There's a definite lineage and very similar flavors." I mean, it makes sense. The Americanized stuff was still largely invented by Chinese immigrants.

Yeah, generally the Americanized stuff just has different proportions and ingredients because, well, the same things aren't easily available everywhere.

Actually that reminds me of something that happened late last semester. A couple of the work study students were hungry and I'd only brought a sandwich, so we agreed to order Chinese food to be delivered. One of the work study students, Khulganaa, is from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. She was like, "What's 'mongolian beef'?" and I'd never had it so I had to admit I didn't really know, so she ordered it. It arrived, she tried it, and was like, "I don't know what this is supposed to be, but it's really good." Which she thought was funny.

I've watched some Korean/Chinese/Japanese People Try (American Food Here) videos on youtube (I gobble that stuff up like catfish), and quite often it is clear just by looking that the food isn't prepared "correctly." It's wierd being on the other end of that phenomenon.

I begin to reply I feel that way every time I see an American drinking "beer," but I remember that only @Bubble181 gets the real beer.

In all seriousness, though... no one can ever get cuban sandwiches right outside of very small areas of Florida. WTF, it's just a pork and ham sandwich, what are you doing?

The best Po'boy sandwich I ever tasted, I ate in Colorado springs, and it was prepared by a Turk.[DOUBLEPOST=1471627963,1471627856][/DOUBLEPOST]Oh and just as a heads up, since I'm working until 9 or so tonight, your weekly music-and-dance reminder about what day of the week it is will be delayed by a few hours.

Po' boys ain't exactly easy to screw up either. Just buy the cheapest bread and a cheapest meat you can find and slap em together for a true Cajun delight.

You say that, but I've had some really crappy ones from places that should know better.

Eating birds of prey is frowned upon around here. Please find another punishment to fit the crime. I suggest 24 hours of the Frozen soundtrack on repeat.
HA! That can't affect me! I've actually been stuck in "it's a small world" at Disney World for over an hour, with that ONE song playing.

I actually put on the Frozen soundtrack or various other Disney loops for hours on end while playing Diablo, I don't mind either. But sssssshhhh, we're trying to get you out from a horrible punishment here!

The Doomies don't worry me, I know how to bribe them and distract them with treats and toys.

My Gmail account has a fairly short and easy name. I was an early adopter. This has its benefits - it's easy to remember for people, it looks professional, no crappy numbers at the end....
However, more and more, people are listing my mail address instead of their own. On all kinds of crap. A certain RJ (same last name as me) is 13 years old and has now tried thrice to list me as their parent in making a Disney Mix account. I imagine he's quite cross with his/her dad/mother by now over refusing them and canceling the account each time....
And now, I'm getting mails from Valley of the Sun United Way, from Phoenix, Arizona, and Teach to Fish Digital LLC. I somehow ended up an admin on their Google Analytics accounts, which they've now linked. Neat. Except, you know, I have nothing to do with either of them. Le sigh.
If anyone's around there and wants to go explain to those guys/women why they should change their admin info....they won't listen to me :p

If you're an admin, then turning everything off for them should get their attention rather quickly. :troll:

I remember when I was applying to colleges I went to a college fair and had to put an email address down. I didn't want to give my personal email (not particularly professional) so I put down "FirstInitialLastName@gmail.com" and just figured I could register it when I got home since my last name is fairly uncommon. Unfortunately, when I got home I found out that email was taken so I went with LastNameFirstName@gmail.com instead. I feel bad for how many emails the guy with the other email address must've got.

I, too didn't get in early enough for FirstInitialLastName, but I did manage to get FirstnameLastname, which I figured was fine since both my first and last name together is still only 12 characters. But then, of course, I also registered GasBandit, which thankfully, was also not taken :D

Ping @blotsfan. If you're going to be here for the game on the 3rd, you need to move quickly. The two week cancel window for some hotels has already closed. The one week window closes this coming Friday.
