Whine like a baby, now with 500% more drama!

Man, now I remember a Face Book friend that vaccinates her dogs but not her kids.
The government doesn't mandate that her employer pay for her dog's health insurance.

As far as she's concerned, dog illnesses are more expensive than child illnesses, less predictable, and more risky.

She's also in the BIG DOG CARE industry.

I could not think of a good pun for BIG PHARMA.

Same thing BIG DOG CARE is BIG PHARMA! They're trying to take out our pets too! And track their every movement!

Heartguard is freaking expensive though.

Apparently I cooked the wrong veggie burger for my wife and instead of let it go to waste I decided to eat it myself.

Gods I've never experienced such concentrated failure before in my life, and I'm a Leafs fan!

If you have a raised pick-up and HID headlights, you're a piece of shit.

Thank you.

ON DIM they caused my car to cast such a shadow in front of me it almost overpowered my own headlights. He might as well have been shining a fucking spotlight directly into my eyes.

I swear to God, I will devote my life to handing out tickets to these pricks if they ever get made illegal.

Mother fucker followed me like halfway across the city, right on my ass the entire time.

I am still pissed about it.
Dude, you got his plate number, right? hunt him down in your squad car, pull him over, shoot out his taillight, then say "sorry."

Then shoot him.

Police officers in Canada are allowed to stop vehicles that may not be following proper lamp rules:

While I'm quoting the motor vehicle act from BC, you should find most provinces have substantially similar statements and requirements on their regulations to the following:

Regarding headlamps: "a lower beam of light which, regardless of the load on the vehicle, will reveal an object at a distance of 30 m and the high intensity portion of the lower beam will not strike the eye of an oncoming driver."

So all you have to show this that the light is shining into the eyes of oncoming traffic. That should be sufficient for a ticket due to vehicle problems. Whether it'll hold up in court is an entirely different issue, and may be part of the reason they are not regularly ticketed.

I know how that works, but it wasn't in front of me, it was behind me very close. The light was bouncing off my rear view and side mirrors in my eyes. It's just those God damn HID's are SO much fucking brighter than normal headlights.

Nothing about it was illegal.

Stupid, damn wasp! Look, YOU flew into my hair, I wasn't anywhere near you! And then you start stinging the back of my neck, you asshole! And of course this had to happen on a day when Mr. Z is working, so I had to get my neighbor to help me get the stingers out.

Meh. My neck hurts. Yard work sucks.

Now THAT'S how you explain away a hickey.

Yeah, yeah, you got me...when Mr. Z is gone I just offer my neck to the locals like a kid with a lemonade stand.

He never asks where all the nickels come from...
Well, that'd pretty much cause me to reconsider my hardline stance against carrying hard currency.

Our voicemail system says it is full. I need to get in with the admin program and clean it out.

But it is only accessible via 9 pin serial port.

I'm having a remarkably difficult time finding a machine in the building that still has a 9 pin serial port.

You probably have lots of machines there with 9-pin serial ports.
Trouble is, they're all accessible from some MLB header and need a fits-in-your-PCI-slot-but-not-really insert in order to use it.

True, the mobo I just bought for my intel 6700k still has the serial port header on it.

I like usb, though, because it provides another layer of protection from my motherboard, and I hook weird stuff up to my serial ports from time to time.

But for heaven's sake, get a real FTDI serial port usb adaptor. The other serial port usb converters suck eggs.
