Pretty sure it's a glitch. A few of the WTF moments are glitches.
Oh, I know. I've just never seen one happen while I've been in game, so I assume they're pretty rare.

I'm getting pretty good with Junkrat. Knew how to use him before, but my ricochet aim has been getting better (or luckier) and my reaction time is definitely a lot stronger than most characters. Most fun tonight was sneaking behind enemy lines and bombing them from the back.
It's simple geometry!
The game last night in El Dorado was when I REALLY realized how effective he can be in semi-enclosed spaces. Enemy in an alcove? Bounce it off the walls at him. Reinhardt walling off a choke point? Bounce 'em right off the overhead arch to bypass his shield completely and rain 'em right down on his helmet. Mei keeps walling you off? Shoot right over that thing like it isn't there. Bunch of guys on the point in the Ilios ruins or the Temple of Anubis? Fire almost straight up into the air from behind cover to blanket them with death and make 'em run around (the "area denial" mode that @GasBandit is always talking about). The only other characters with gravity-assisted projectiles (i.e., "can fire over walls") are Mei (ult only) and Hanzo (and maybe Torb and Zarya, I haven't tested them yet).

Yep, that's what I do. It's especially funny when a Mei thinks her ice wall makes her safe, only to have actually trapped herself when I bounce the bombs off the ceiling.
People do not expect you to toss the remote mine directly behind them and send them sailing. Or on the ground. A Reinhardt charged me and I threw the bomb down in front me, then detonated as he went across it. He flew over me, and over the buildings behind me, off to some other part of the map.
Genjis are my favorite though, because every one of them is so certain they can murder me immediately, but they're moving so fast that they never notice the bear trap.

And this was the ONE game where I finally separated my vent and in-game chat keys, so half of what I said was lost, too because Dei had me muted in game
Maybe I should have said I was doing that. Ah well.
When did you swap the keys? Because you didn't have them swapped at the start.

Like, right at the start of this very match. And of course, because I had replaced my blood with vodka, I didn't think to tell anybody. Later in the game though I kinda half-remembered people might have me muted so I started pushing both buttons simultaneously again when I wanted both you guys and the randos to hear me.
I heard you talking in the channel (at least I assume so because the other guy responded), which is why I ask. Are you sure you weren't so drunk you just forgot to use your second key sometimes.
