I honestly wonder if you like this game or just treat it as a chore.
It's not a BAD game, I've played far worse for far longer, but mostly I play it because the group I play games with plays it. If not for Dei, Terrik and Snuffles, I probably wouldn't play it on my own.

Mostly I hate people, and there are so many shitcock assnecked crusty jizzrag PEOPLE I have to put up with, where Overwatch is concerned.

No one is making you play with us though. I'd rather not have you turn into a raging froth monster, we still need to be able to play Divinity Original Sin 2 with our friendship intact here. ;)

He just reached his skill ceiling faster than the rest of us.

"No one is making you play with us" say the people who twisted the peer pressure screws to get me to buy it during beta >_<

1.) You didn't buy it during beta, it was a week after release.

2.) Terrik offered to play at different hours so you could play with us, and yes it was bribery, but we were originally playing it after you went to bed.

3.) If you are not having fun, you don't have to play. :p

Ah, that's right, I tried it during the free beta event, I didn't buy it until a week after launch.

And whenever you were playing it, it had nothing to do with my schedule :p you guys had been playing Fire Emblem without me for weeks upon weeks prior to that! I was making anime dance videos.

Terrik wasn't playing much, he was drowning in school, and fucking up his sleep schedule. We were playing Secret World, and I played Overwatch with him when you went to bed.

Also, I'm not being snide, when even people who don't play with you can tell you're frustrated with the game, you might need to take a few days off. :p

The block list only prevents you from hearing or talking with them, not playing with them. Blizzard had to remove that function when the top Widowmaker in the world found himself with hour long queues, because every enemy he played kept adding him to the block list until there was a much smaller pool for him to play in. They realized top players were slowly black listing themselves from general play, so out went that ability.

BTW any of you guys try out the arcade on the PTR? Some of the modes in there are pretty fun, plus you can get way more loot boxes. The first time you do the 1vs1 or 3vs3 arena matches you get a loot box, then after that you can get an additional 3 loot boxes per week through 9 arena, mystery, or no limit game wins (1 box every 3 wins), plus of course any XP towards the normal level loot boxes.

Blo(a)cklisting people always seemed childish to me.
Yeah, I'm looking forward to arcade mode, for the variety as much as the loot boxes.

Just noticed the following:
  • The amount of experience needed to reach levels after 100 is now constant (20,000 XP) and will no longer reset after each promotion
Whew! Glad I promoted before the 'we'en event ran out.

Somebody told me that blocking somebody prevented them being placed on your own team. That seems to me like a much better idea - you shouldn't be able to block someone to never play AGAINST them again.

Terrik can get on the PTR now, but Snuffles, Dei and I are still "Unknown Error Occurred."

They considered this, but there are other variables involved that can still, in essence, lock out a player after enough "blocks" have accumulated. Let's go back to the top Widowmaker. Let's say everyone he fights blocks him just because they are pissed at him for sniping them to death. Let's say the pool of 5000 players cycling at the moment, at least 3000 of them have blocked him. The match maker still has to calculate the groups, but now also has to make sure none of those 3000 people get grouped with the Widowmaker, thus the Widowmaker still has to wait longer while it gets through all those people. It's not a simple system, thus they decided not to let the players control who they will group with in the random queue.

Why would you blacklist someone from YOUR team because they were good on the other team? That's imbecilic.

Excellent use of sneaking. Are there no health packs in 1v1?
I assume the Bastion duels will be nothing but piping hot nacho cheese.

I lost my first Arena, because after the first round as Zenyatta, it decided to put me with nearly all my worst heroes. It was a friendly match though, the guy even said he was scared because I nailed two headshots with Zen in the first round and blew him away, but that is just the luck of the draw and how talented you are with different classes.

The second arena I won, but it was a tough one with us reaching the last round (4 to 4) and me just being a better Winston player. It was pretty hilarious though. One round I won as Hanzo, pretty much completely due to luck (I spotted him first and hit him with a scatter arrow), another we spent what felt like 10 minutes trading mech kills as DVa, and one round I beat him as Torbjorn by forgoing the turret and just baiting him, then hammering him to death while under Molten Core.[DOUBLEPOST=1478621826,1478621620][/DOUBLEPOST]

Nope, no packs. Only way to get health back is if you have inherent regeneration or healing abilities. This is why getting the first hit is very important, you gotta be sneaky, lure the enemy into getting bold, then strike him before he can react. It's why the two games I tried turned into very cat and mouse'ish affairs where you spend a good chunk of the start trying to get the drop on each other.

Not compared to the "new" 76, no.
76 can crush McCree now as long as he can stay out of flash bang range.
Also learned that combat roll/blink/etc will all work in directions other than "forward." Never even tried doing that.
Also confirmed EMP does not cancel Zenyatta's ult.
I wish we had numbers on things like damage per shot and rate of fire.
You want to join in a custom game and take notes, I'm game.
