Games on SALE!

Sweet, maybe ill get it now.
I mean, it's not the new upgraded edition, it's just the base with all the DLC. So if you mean you'll finally get all the DLC, then yes, sweet, because even if you own a DLC already it's cheaper than Dawnguard on sale.

Gonna admit it, Steam sales have sucked for some time now.

Better prices are to be found regularly elsewhere.

I think most companies caught on that they sell the same volume no matter how little they discount it. The last few Steam sales have been the biggest ever and the sales were all mediocre.

If you're into JRPGs a lot of them are on sale right now, outside of SE's stuff. The Tales games as well as Ys games are at a pretty decent discount.

Symphonia, I hear, runs fine compared to the trash heap of a port it started as. Zestiria is okay, if you liked most Tales games it's worth getting on sale but not at full price.

If you want to dip your toe into Ys, I would say start with either Origins (multiple characters for multiple playthroughs), or Oath in Felghana. Ys I&II are difficult and even with updated sprites and such play in a very dated fashion.

NWN1 was a pretty decent multiplayer experience, better than NWN2, IMO. At least NWN1 let two players carry on two separate conversations with two different NPCs simultaneously.

@Null if you're looking for an isometric dungeon crawl RPG that will work on an old computer, and never played NWN, might as well give this one a try.[DOUBLEPOST=1480626817,1480626586][/DOUBLEPOST]HA HA HA I already own NWN1 diamond edition on GOG, duuuuuuh. Well, now I have a gift copy I guess.

I also have NWN1 Diamond edition on CD.

Same thing happened to me. Didn't even know I owned it.

I loved that game, I used to play an old "I'm too old for this shit" Ilmater cleric on a roleplay perma-death server called Arabel or something.

Great people, staff, people were serious roleplayers. Learnt a lot of D&D hanging out with these folks.

I miss that experience sometimes.

And again Connect doesn't properly work for me. I mean, I own most of the games I own on Steam on GOG too, but in some cases I do only own them on Steam....oh well.

If you're the Bubble in the Halforums group, your account is set to private and that's preventing GOG from checking which games you own.

Next month's Humble Bundle is promoting Vermintide as their hook.

Yeah, they've got me for another month. Especially since this month's monthly included Mordheim...

Telltale Games Presents: The Walking Dead Season 1 is free, Dec. 10th through 13th, for Twitch Prime users. You get to keep it after those dates, but you gotta claim it during them.

Seriously people... LINK YOUR TWITCH AND PRIME ACCOUNTS. Not only do you get great free games, you get discounts on some games with Prime.

Eh, I didn't think AssCreed3 was that bad. It has problems, yes, and it pales in comparison to Black Flag, but I still had lots of fun in it. Plus, Haytham and Connor's interactions were great.

Assassin's Creed 3 is odd: it has one of the most legit interesting settings in the series, but that period also means you don't have a TON of buildings to climb so a lot of what you is climb trees... and your character is, at most, tangentially related to the story. Hunting is kind of cool, sailing is REALLY cool.

I normally don't do this but... watch the story segments on youtube and skip to Black Flag. Unless you want to try the UTTERLY RIDICULOUS AND AWESOME Tyranny of King Washington dlc.
