Isn't a street corner the ultimate public forum? I support free speech, and that means that you can stand on that corner and yell at the world if you want, but it doesn't mean that anyone will listen or agree with you. Doesn't mean that you should work to "shout somebody down" to counteract them (I believe the liberal side of the aisle would call that bullying), but it doesn't stop you from standing across from the first person and spread your message at the same time. I feel that too many think that because you disagree you must SILENCE the other side, not talk to them to try to change their mind.
There was a recent video from Taiwan, which unfortunately I can't find online now. It was basically shot from the same angle as this image:
This is from the recent gay marriage protests in Taipei, in which pro- and anti-gay marriage camps both held rallies in the city. This is from a pro-gay marriage event, and the banners behind the girl say "Monologues from Gay Christians", ie it's an event where gay Christians go up and tell their stories, and say their piece about why they support gay marriage.
In the video, there was a woman in the audience who kept drowning out the speakers with a shrill, cackling laugh. She never said anything, never laid a hand on anyone. She just kept up this really loud non-stop laugh. ("That's a fake laugh!") The people on stage did their best to ignore her, but you could tell she was getting to them.
So, naturally, I think the laughing woman's a bitch, and that she should GTFO. But if I condemn her for her actions, then I cannot in good conscience applaud the shouting guy in Nick's video. It would be hypocritical of me to do so.

Speech being free, is all free speech equal? Several places have passed various laws for the sole point of silencing the WBC at funerals they protest, but no one complains in their defense.

There are a few terms you'll need to already be familiar with so that an explanation will make sense: tentacles, manga, the Republican National Convention, reptoids, and the skunk ape. If you know all that, you should have no trouble with an explanation of Poe's Law, but I'll let someone else do the honors.
