Icarus. Holy crap. And the funny thing is that everyone was ignoring it until I pointed it out. Then he cursed at us and told us we were horrible people, then never returned.
And poor Iaculus. He left because people kept mixing him up with the pedo.

What?!? Come on, that was funny. Underrated. The frost susan joke always made me a bit misty-eyed.
That's not mist.[DOUBLEPOST=1484685121,1484684772][/DOUBLEPOST]I don't know if I'd count it as my favorite, but I remember the original arguments that started the whole "Subway/Quiznos" thing. Funny, because I don't think anyone here voraciously follows either comic anymore. The frost susan joke always made me a bit misty-eyed.
Heh, I just remembered the time you went on a union thing on here, too. That was some funny shit. Didn't you photoshop a shark's head onto an American revolutionary or something?[DOUBLEPOST=1484687919,1484687699][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, I just remembered the two threads in the Advice subforum from...shoot, I can't remember who it was. But the first one was he thought his female friends was giving mixed signals. The other was something about a New Years party. Both times, he not only ignored any advice or suggestions, but then lashed out at us, which only worsened and worsened. I remember TRYING to appease to his better nature, but it was hopeless. The dude was in serious need of some kind of mental health help or therapy. He said that he didn't deserve it over other people more deserving or something. Like he was trying to be a hero about it. Both of those threads were a complete and utter disaster. This might be taboo, but the Union thread where Mav tried to start a union at his call center job still cracks me up to this day.
Also the one thread where the guy turned out to be a pedo and didn't even realize it that started the "She was really mature for her age" forum meme.
Classics.
Charlie Don't Surfopolous?@ThatNickGuy you're talking about Norris
That reminds me, maybe someone could fill me in on what happend to a particular forumite. I don't remember his name, but he was Greek and had some kind of masked anime character for an avatar? Apparently he got in an argument with someone and completely freaked out. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Masked anime character? Only person who jumps to mind was Jonjonaug...@ThatNickGuy you're talking about Norris

Ah, good times. That shit was hilarious. Though I SWEAR you had a similar one using a painting depicting the Civil War.[DOUBLEPOST=1484690775,1484690717][/DOUBLEPOST]Holy hell. When did Photobucket become ad popup, slow as hell to load cancer?
Nah, Jonjonaug I believe was Italian-American and had a different avatar. The dude I'm talking about lived in Greece and as I recall his avatar was something like this:Masked anime character? Only person who jumps to mind was Jonjonaug...
Like a decade ago or more. I've never known it NOT to be slow and ad-infested. One of the reasons I got my own website was to have my own image hosting solution.[DOUBLEPOST=1484690775,1484690717][/DOUBLEPOST]Holy hell. When did Photobucket become ad popup, slow as hell to load cancer?
I have had my own website for a couple of decades. I'm still a lazy fuck and use sites like imgur (or tinypic in the past) because I can't be assed to ftp into my own site just to transfer files, nor can I gather the will to care enough to write my own easy-to-use file importer (which is certainly within my capabilities)Like a decade ago or more. Same same. Well, except for the nudes and stuff. The final nail in the coffin of my image hoard was that its album software turned out to have huge gaping security flaws that actually let scammers hijack my webserver and make their own subdomain without me noticing and then in turn using it to scam other people with fake USAA e-mails >_< that was a fun rat's nest to detangle and hole to plug.I have had my own website for a couple of decades. Yeah, I quit hosting my own web server at my house sometime in the early 2000s when script kiddies started finding the holes faster than I could plug them. I think the final straw was when my tinwhistle site was broadcasting a mid-east "death to america" page for 3 days.Same same. Well, except for the nudes and stuff. Also, I just remembered something else with you. I'd been talking about asking out some girl (like I do). You posted a caption using a picture of Disney's Beast, but wearing a monocle and top hat. The caption was this long, overly flowery and snooty message, calling me a homosexual (or a similar, old-timey term). When I responded, "So, what are you trying to say?" you posted another caption with Beast, sans monocle/top hat, shouting "DO IT, FAGGOT!" Horribly offense in retrospect, but the timing of it all made me laugh so hard.
The second picture looks like he just spotted the car about to run him down.
Dude, every jaw was on the floor when we walked in together. They couldn't keep their eyes off us.So, does that mean this is Nick's prom night?
That thread is in our Hall of Fame/Shame/Meh somewhere. But, to get back on topic, and sorry to toot my own horn, but I think one of my favorite threads was when someone asked if they'd let Shego "hit that", and I posted something along the lines of letting her drill me with a strap-on. I think I felt the heat of Vytamindi's blushing all the way over here.
