Funny (political, religious) pictures

Yeah, that picture got me banned from /r/atheism. I commented that it's political and not atheist related so they removed my comment and banned me for 30 days. I sent the mods an email telling them that they were fucking morons. Now the ban is longer.

What exactly is atheist-related that's not either political or about bashing religion? Is there actual morality talks from a "pure" (whatever that means) atheist perspective, or is it more about saying "lol, religion!" It seems like a very ripe environment for "we're not this" rather than a "we are this" type of discussion to dominate. Related, ask a Canadian to define what they are without using "American" in the reply anywhere. For the extra-hard variety, define Canadian without using another country either, but only attributes.

I'm actually asking about the atheist thing, having never been there. What gets a lot more press usually are the "angry atheists" and/or "anti-religion" ones, hence me asking what's there.

I don't know about reddit but the answer is obviously yes. Atheism is not defined as anti religion, after all.

I can't stand /r/atheism or those kind of people who base their entire identity around atheism. Oh, you don't believe in God, that makes you so smart and superior... Fuck off.

And this is coming from someone who is an atheist.

Shout it from the rooftop, brother!

"Look at the size. This is the Democrats. This is us."

I didn't watch the video. Is he comparing Trump's hands to Obama's?
He's comparing a stack of 2000+ pages of paper (Obamacare) to a stack of 120 or so (the republican plan to replace it), and using it as a visual aid on big vs small government.

Especially when it's being used yet again (surprise surprise) to defund Planned Parenthood, despite it already being unable to use tax dollars for abortion care. I'm not interested in faith based healthcare coverage, especially from people who'd sooner watch me die in the streets then help me.

And fuck giving states more control over healthcare dollars. Just another way for them to deny coverage to people that don't look like them.

At least people are allowed to read/know what's in it/object to its contents BEFORE they go to vote on it, this time :p

The pages are all blank, though, right? Lke when Trump "signed over" his business?

Yeah, small and vague is always the best way to craft government legislation.. see: "totes-not-a-muslim-ban ban".

I was making no judgement call, I was just explaining what he was doing to someone who didn't watch the video.

It's very telling, to me, however, that even the editor of NRO can't find anybody to say good things about the new bill.
