I needed it today. Super rude people at the drug store. I'm either invisible and people walk into me and/or nearly knock my cane out from underneath me or act like I'm gigantic. Or follow me in to a store to ask why I have a cane because I'm too young to need one.

OMG. I have pink hair. I can't be that hard to notice. And I'm not that gigantic that I need a dude to shout specifically to me to be aware that he needs me out of his way because he's coming through. And I agree that I'm too young to have the body of 90 year old, but here I am. I think I make 90 look good though at least :)

Maybe random people were always brutal but I never noticed until now.
Maybe you just need to ramp up your efforts. Really enjoy the fun of being a young 90-year-old. Pretend your hard-of-hearing. Move out of the way as slowly as possible. And if they ask why you have a cane, say "The cane's not a big deal. The last person who didn't mind their own business needed crutches." *waves cane threateningly*

Well, if they insulated it later, it's honestly no different than a crimp connector or a wire nut.
True, but still not to code. I kinda doubt it was done with proper insulation just because it does look like you have the older remains of an aluminum 00 gauge wire still left in the conduit.

I have my doubts as to whether the band clamps are capable of as much pressure as crimps, wire nuts, or ideally in this case, a split bolt.

I could see using this in an emergency, where the correct solution was unavailable and getting power restored was life critical, or nearly so, and a correct fix was only 24-48 hours away, but I'd rather have no power than power under these circumstances without a critical need.

Pud is the one who loves stuffies. There is this one large white bear that he just can't quit. He must get confused sometimes because I have a few similar ones that get covered in long, black fur sometimes and need help.

It's (Good) FRIDAAAAAAAAAAAY!

The office has closed for the day, but I still got work to do. But with nobody to bother me, maybe I'll...

uh... Well, I was gonna say "get to go home on time" but I'm probably gonna finally get around to doing my taxes.

I'm gonna rant a little about my books for a minute.

I suddenly realized something about Dill. I've said that the books are like Mickey Spillane meets Ninja Turtles. But I never felt the inspiration came from the original Turtles comics or the 80s cartoon.

No, I realized Dill is almost exclusively inspired by the original 1990 live action Ninja Turtles movie. Raph in the trench coat and fedora is Dill in all but name and species. I've said this before, but Tony Castillo is based on Casey Jones from the movie.

And holy shit, in writing it like that, I JUST realized where his and Dill's friendship came from: they're literally Raph and Casey. How have I never realized that!?

Cripes, maybe my stuff isn't as original as I thought.

(Seriously, for those that have read my books, tell me this isn't basically Dill and Tony.)

Going over the comic book collection I've made over the years, it makes me realize...I have a lot of rare books that I can sell for money. Like, TWO Dark Avengers variant books, the first three Secret invasions, and SOMEHOW X-force 11, one of the FIRST appearances of Deadpool!

Unobtainium... obtained!

This bottle should last me years. What's nice is on initial use, I'm not seeing the misbehavior (feathering, ghosting, bleed throughs) some reviews have reported when using higher grade paper.

In other pen news, Goulet Pens is having a BOGO sale on Jinhao fountain pens. The most expensive one is the 159, which is at it's core a replica of the iconic Montblanc 149. But the Jinhao goes for $12.50 instead of $750.00. They only ship in medium, but can swap out for any #6 size nib if you want.

Buying ink for a fountain pen "ironically" may have put you into the upper echelon of hipsterism :p

Bad news for you, X-Force #11 was produced is such massive quantity that it doesn't have much after market value, it's around $3. New Mutants #98 though.... couple a hundred for even a lower grade.

Are you introducing Dill's three brothers in the next book?
