@Terrik @Snuffleupagus (Dei already has it) @figmentPez @Officer_Charon @Null @Ravenpoe @Dave (maybe even @PatrThom) and anyone else who ever thought they might want to get in on the co-op games, GYET IT[DOUBLEPOST=1498177265,1498177245][/DOUBLEPOST]
Huh. I see it pointing at me, I see it linked, but it doesn't show up in my alerts list. Weird.

No, no, it was Bloody Cup or something. Or was it Gory Saucer? Sanguine Dinnerplate.
Varicose vessel? Hematic hollow? Gory goblet? It was something like that.

Since Just Cause 3 is finally 75% off, I finally got around to buying it. Not sure when I'll get around to playing it, but that's how these things go.

Outlast 2 is on sale. Outlast is $3, and the DLC is $1.34. No one told me about these games when I asked for a recommendation (geez, what do I not pay you guys for). These look right up my alley.

... I don't remember you saying you were into survival horror. Anyway, I wouldn't have pushed it because I've not played it myself :p

Yeah, I should've mentioned survival horror. That's one of my favorite genres. Not sure why I didn't say that. My mistake.

Outlast 1 is really, really, really good.

Outlast 2 is.. prettier, in a very grotesque way. But I personally didn't find as engaging. It's like it tries too hard to be shocking.[DOUBLEPOST=1498244321,1498244111][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, it's not on sale, but if we're recommending horror games, Resident Evil 7 is one of the best horror games I've played in a long while. In fact, it's the only horror game I've really liked since Outlast 1, and contrasting it against Outlast 2 shows, at least to me, all the flaws of Outlast 2 and every other horror game that, coincidentally, tried to copy Outlast.

I have also not played any of the Outlast franchise.
Maybe @fade can play it and tell us how good it is/was?

@Ravenpoe summed up what the reviews say. Outlast and its DLC are "Overwhelmingly Positive", but Outlast 2 is "Mixed" or "Mostly Positive" last I checked. I think I'll buy 1 and the DLC. Probably Just Cause 2 (for the same reasons--cheap, and rated higher than 3)

I'm still on the fence if I'll buy anything. My list of shame is pretty long still, so I may just wait to make purchases. I dunno. I've got money in my Steam wallet and it's burning a hole.

RimWorld didn't go on sale. I bought it anyways. I have buried a lot of strangers because I never notice escape pods crashing soon enough.

... But it gives you a little envelope about it! With an option to make the camera jump to where they are!

... monster!

I really suck at seeing the pop-ups right away. Shush. (It also doesn't help that I've been playing with no sound on my laptop because I didn't feel like plugging in my shitty headphones.

Oh, THAT also is a huge handicap. You gotta have the sounds. A lot of the notifications are really subtle unless you've trained yourself to listen for the notification tone that goes along with them.

But, to help you, you can go into the options and set it to pause every time you get a notification, that might help you notice them.

D: Horrifying

When you're tempted to pay for a game on this sale, check "Is There Any Deal", you'd be surprised how often these Steam Sales aren't close to historic lows.
