I haven't played since January, though I'm sure it'll go back into rotation when my KSP run through is complete. I'm at 220 hours. And for the studio audience, that's already 27% of my played hours (250) and Tinwhistler got it for me last august.
If things continue in this manner, by my calculations, she will overtake my playtime in 40 more days, assuming I still average 5 hours a day (4 hours/weeknight, 8 hours a weekend day) for that time. Sooner if and when I switch off to Darkest Dungeon.
Standard patches or a special mod?Have you revisited it lately? I get 60fps at 2K resolution, and my gpu isn't that much higher than yours (1080 vs 980)

I decided to bring the zombie playthrough to a close, and the ship is almost done constructing. Probably will finish it tonight. Then I can start a new playthrough again, and I definitely plan for Colony Manager to be in there this time.Colony Manager is the greatest mod for Rimworld. Not actually having to micromanage the 5 billion chickens that I keep hatching is the greatest thing.
Your RimWorld posts have made me play RimWorld again when I should be working on my Math Courses! That being said, I kick started it way way back and have never ever regretted it.So as to not spam this thread as badly with Rimworld stuff, I've started a dedicated thread. Anyone interested in my new playthrough of RimWorld - Halforums (Tribal) edition, that's where I'll be making the posts
Bout to say, I've been seeing you play that game SO MUCH for a game you didn't think was very goodHoly crap the Elizabeth Green mission in Prototype was one of the most drawn out, tedious video game missions I've ever played.
Also it was no huge surprise thatbut I'm confused because the trailer for the second game seems to reverse that and say thatAlex was the virus[DOUBLEPOST=1499644172,1499644140][/DOUBLEPOST]Also pre mutation Elizabeth Green is hot.it really is Alex after all
THAT'S where you recognize Jennifer Hale's voice from?the same actress who voices Leah from Diablo III.
Perhaps - I haven't played Brütal Legend - because of tone of voice? I know it's the same actress, but Leah and Bastila sound very different to me.THAT'S where you recognize Jennifer Hale's voice from?
EDIT: Actually, sorry, that was unnecessarily snarky. I just find it interesting because Jennifer Hale's one of the most prolific and famous voice actresses in gaming, with her more well-known roles including Femshep, Bastila Shan, Rosalind Lutece from Bioshock, and so so so many others. You're the first person I've met who recognized her as Leah first.
I don't know about "unnecessarily," or even "snarky." I haven't played Bioshock, Mass Effect, SWOTR, nor (I guess) So Many Others.THAT'S where you recognize Jennifer Hale's voice from?

Oh, I forgot to further mention that I saw the Tim Schafer play demo when It came out (this one: )THAT'S where you recognize Jennifer Hale's voice from?
I've played through as both. Velvet's more "fun," but Rose, well, Rose has red hair and more useful minion buffs.Just finished playing through Overlord (second time) with the Raising Hell expansion (first time), and I still really like the game, even though it's got a lot of flaws. The controls are kinda crap, the camera is awful, and it doesn't really make that good of use of the core mechanic of minions... but it's so much more fun than it is good.
The minions are absolutely adorable. I like the very dry humor in the game. The art style is pretty. And it generally feels good to make progress.
The biggest flaw is that most of the time it's more effective to do things yourself, rather than try to get your minions to do it. There needs to be more control over minions, but the game doesn't even try? The d-pad goes completely unused. As it is, there's not a lot of chance for strategy, because of how limited your choices are in quickly making your minions do things. All too often the best option is to just plant all of your minions in one spot and then do shit yourself. It kinda feels weird to say this but... Brutal Legend did it better (and Pikmin probably did, too, but I've never played Pikmin).
One thing I was kinda surprised at, there don't seem to be any 100% Corruption Let's Plays on YouTube. There's a guide to getting 100% Corruption, and several playthroughs where the players got 0%, even one that ended at like 40%, but no completely evil runs. I'm not even sure there are any where the player chose Velvet over Rose as their mistress.
(Also, Overlord 2 reveals, no big spoiler really, that Rose was the canonical choice for Overlord 1)I've played through as both. Velvet's more "fun," but Rose, well, Rose has red hair and more useful minion buffs.
Overlord 2 is better because you don't have to decide between mistresses. You can have them all.
Happy to hear, it's worth every penny. I plan to play to polar opposite once I'm done playing a few games (probably in the Fall).
That's odd, I never had problems with NV crashing at all, even on windows 7. And I didn't even use the anti-crash mod, didn't even know it existed. I assume you've done all the usual "compatibility mode/additional permissions" things? Just a wild thought, too, have you tried creating a steam folder that isn't in program files, and moving the game there?Fallout New Vegas
Game contains odd story feature that causes player's stats to become suddenly irrelevant, and for a white rectangle to suddenly appear before the character's eyes reading "FalloutNV.exe has stopped working". Feature seems to occur at random, and I cannot see the story benefit. Apparently I'm supposed to wait for an NPC named Windows to search for a solution, but he never finds it. I'm guessing this is a boss NPC. Can anyone give me any tips on how to defeat it?
(using the anti-crash mod does not help. Well I don't know. Maybe it is, and if it is, that's just sad.)
Well in this case, I know I'm far from alone. There are many posts on the internet about how buggy and crash prone the game is.That's odd, I never had problems with NV crashing at all, even on windows 7.
