I'd like to note that those whistles are a sound investment. Tin is at an all time high!
All joking aside, some of those whistles are a good investment.
Whistle makers don't last forever. They retire or pass away. Some of those whistles I bought for a couple hundred dollars and now go for $600-800 on the after market because the maker isn't making them any longer.
