Former President and Convicted Felon Trump Thread

Don't let the BUT HILLARY!! distract you from the fact that Trump paid hush money to a porn star and welcomed Russian tampering in the election.

Hoboian Week in Review

Monday January 22:
The president started the week in seclusion, still morose after not being allowed to attend to a birthday party he was throwing for himself because the government stopped working. He is said to have been livid at the idea of remaining in Washington on a weekend in January and almost apoplectic at the idea of offering refunds to his party goers.

Some senators managed to not yell at each other long enough when Piggy finally let go of the conch and agreed to fund the government for a few more days. They did this easily as the president was not involved, both sides agreeing that talking with trump is like talking to orange jello. Seriously who likes orange jello anyway?

Tuesday January 23:
Mr trump was rocked today as it came to light that he had begun a campaign (as early as June) to discredit and dismiss the senior staff of the FBI, because they won't stop defending the Constitution and defend him instead. Clearly to mr trump, they can not be trusted. Helping the president with this is some muppet named Senator Nunes (pronounced noons not Nu-Nez, as that would be Mexican and trump has mild feelings regarding Mexicans), Mr Nunes has "viewed" "secret information" that "only he" can see and "written" a golden "memo" about it that he will describe to Republicans but not show them, as it details how mean the FBI is towards mr trump. Democrats asked to see this golden memo were told "Ptphhh!"

The First Lady of the United States Melania Knavs, decided that she would not journey to Devos Switzerland with the president later in the week as her schedule just could not accommodate such a trip. The secret service applauded Miss Knavs for her decision as apparently the atmosphere between her and the president could get quite Stormy in a confined space such as AIR FORCE ONE.

Wednesday January 24
The president said for all to hear that their was no collusion, no collusion, maybe the Russians interfered with the election, but it didn't matter anyway as he was the best, THE BEST candidate the world had ever seen, but not collusion, absolutely no collusion and apparently if you fight back and defend yourself against criminal investigations by firing the investigators it's obstruction, no obstruction and he would totally testify under oath with Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller.

A mild sonic boom was then heard as mr trumps attorneys erupted in unison "NO HE WON'T!"

This led to a spirited news cycle as people hotly debated what mr trump means when he uses words.

Thursday January 25
The First Lady of the United States Melania Knavs visited a Washington Holocaust museum speaking gracefully and acknowledging the horrors committed. She was graciously received and thanked for attending before the Saturday memorial of the Holocaust as her security detail may interfere with those visiting that day. It is hoped that her visit will help spark the president to remember in his address Saturday that Jews were killed during the Holocaust and not to mention that there were good people on each side.

As the president flew to Devos to speak at the World Economic Forum, all of the leaders of first world nations flew home, saying "if we want to speak with mr trump, we'll use the phone"

Back in the United States of America, some journalists revealed that mr trump had attempted to fire Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller in June, and offered some reasons why that are so thin and flimsy they belong in a Gasbandit Birthday thread. The news media then spent the entire day pointing out all the times the president and his staff and Kelly Anne Conway (no relation to Tim Conway) said that he had never and would never attempt to fire Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller.

Meanwhile in the Netherlands, it is revealed that the Dutch counter computer espionage unit had infiltrated Russian hacking organizations and not only observed their actions on the computer but live and in colour on closed circuit television. The Dutch worked hand in hand with their American counterparts, allowing loads of fact finding and observations, the Russians were observed to hack into the US Dept of State, several embassies, the DNC and the White House email servers. The Americans with the help of the Dutch managed to observe and guide the Russians to information they wanted them to observe all while collecting data on who was responsible for these actions. This represented indisputable evidence that Russia interfered in the 2016 USA elections. Armed with this information President Barrack Obama levied increased sanctions against Russia and called upon the Senior Republican in Washington Senator Mitch McConnell to join him in a bi-partisan condemnation of the Russian attacks, to which the Senator replied "No, nope, no. Can't do that. Also not a turtle." After the elections were settled, then president elect trump, who would go on to lessen all the sanctions levied by President Obama, was given a full briefing on the depth of Russian interference in the election. But luckily mr trump would remember this briefing in January 2018, a mere 14 months later....

For some reason during the trump regime, the Dutch lost their access to the Russian hacking group and are now no longer working with the American intelligence agencies.

Friday January 26
Mr trump gave a prepared speech to the representatives of shit hole countries (all the non shit holes left earlier in the week), which was nicely received until he went off script and started attacking the press. This led to a chorus of boos and a mixture of "get a load of this guy" laughs.

Back home in Washington, mr trumps legal team is ferociously working on re-writing history so that the laws that compel Democrat presidents to testify will not apply to mr trump, who apparently is a Republican.

Next Week
All eyes will be on mr trump this coming Monday as the Congressional mandated Russian sanctions come into effect and mr trump must choose either exempt Russians and explain why, or choose 5 out of 12 sanctions to apply. The sanctions range from "finger wagging don't do that again" and all the way up to taking their money, banging their wife and screaming "I"M RICK JAMES BITCH!"

U.S. Government 'Considering' Creation of Nationwide 5G Network
the Trump administration is considering a federal "takeover" of a portion of the country's mobile network to "guard against China" and hopes to finalize the details before September.
[...]
The PowerPoint presentation says that the U.S. has to build superfast 5G wireless technology quickly because “China has achieved a dominant position in the manufacture and operation of network infrastructure,” and “China is the dominant malicious actor in the Information Domain.” To illustrate the current state of U.S. wireless networks, the PowerPoint uses a picture of a medieval walled city, compared to a future represented by a photo of lower Manhattan.
On the one hand, I applaud the idea of un-privatizing access to Internet infrastructure.
On the other hand, I don't for one minute think that this is being done in order to bring Internet to the masses. No, it's being done because the people behind this want Internet access, communications, self-driving cars and their location, etc., all funneled through a more convenient means of surveillance.

EDIT: Come to think of it, if he weren’t dead, I think John Hurt would have done a good job portraying Trump.

The government is gonna spy on us regardless, might as well get better, cheaper internet out of it.

Honestly, while I do mind the (unconstitutional) spying, I don’t mind it near as much as the aggregation and storage. It’s one thing to gather evidence against a suspect with just cause, it’s quite another to build a comprehensive profile of an entire populace “just in case.”

Congress will do something about his refusal to enforce the law they passed and he signed, right? Right?

https://latest.com/2018/01/adviser-...rosecute-bob-mueller-to-get-out-of-interview/

A Trump adviser told NBC News that the president is considering asking Attorney General Jeff Sessions to prosecute special counsel Bob Mueller and his team.
The NBC News report detailed Trump’s “two-track strategy to deal with the Mueller investigation.”
On one track, Trump is telling aides that he expects to be cleared of any wrongdoing by Mueller. On the other track, Trump “has now decided that he must have an alternative strategy,” NBC News reports.
“Trump is even talking to friends about the possibility of asking Attorney General Jeff Sessions to consider prosecuting Mueller and his team,” the report said.
“Here’s how it would work: ‘We’re sorry, Mr. Mueller, you won’t be able to run the federal grand jury today because he has to go testify to another federal grand jury,’” an unnamed Trump adviser told NBC.
It’s not clear what crimes Trump thinks Mueller and his team could be charged with.

So what you're saying is that it was the most watched State Of The Union ever PERIOD and all reports to the contrary are people trying to undermine the US?

The WHOLE memo or just the cherry picked part from Nunes? Because I'd LOVE to see the whole thing released.

I've only heard about a thing called the "Nune's Memo" - four pages of stuff.

What are you talking about when you say "the whole thing" - is the Nune's memo an abbreviated version of some single existing document? I thought it was a memo generated from a lot of other documents, evidence, etc.

So the CBO is reporting that the new tax cuts will cause the government to run out of money in March.[DOUBLEPOST=1517507660,1517507162][/DOUBLEPOST]

The memo is said to contain classified information that should/can not be released. Without that information it lacks context.

Evidence, no.

Lots of wild assumptions and insinuations of conspiracy. The memo purports that dozens of FBI agents and DOJ prosecutors fabricated evidence and used the Steele dossier to fool a judge into mistakenly granting a FISA warrant, because Rod Rosenstein wanted a reason to appoint a special counsel to investigate Trump because he's in the pay of the DNC and Hillary, making Mueller's investigation illegitimate, and it's all some "deep state" operation against Dolt 45.

I find it hard to believe that the guy who constantly looks like he got caught jerking off at a petting zoo managed to bust open a massive conspiracy with a 4 page memo.
