And...eh, it's okay. The only game that jumps out for me is Bioshock Inifinte.

The game that jumped out at me is Punch Club, but not for good reasons. I only know it from TotalBiscuit's coverage, and that made it look like a boring, repetitive piece of crap. I don't know why this game keeps getting attention.Humble Bundle has a Staff Picks Bundle.

I played it for awhile. It's okay, but it gets really dull after awhile. *Axii Sign* (Which is like a Jedi Mind Trick, but for witchers*Y'know, it's a bit odd, but I haven't bought anything this Steam sale. I thought I'd at least get Witcher 3 finally, and maybe a few more things from my wishlist, but I feel like I have enough to play already, so I haven't felt the need to take the plunge.
Is this... is this what growing up feels like?
I should buy Witcher 3.*Axii Sign* (Which is like a Jedi Mind Trick, but for witchers*
You should buy Witcher 3.
*looks at his hand, surprised* Huh.I should buy Witcher 3.
It's not as bad as it seems. What you want is "legendary edition" which is the base game plus all the expansions that were released over it's lifetime. You don't need to buy anything after that, and while there is technically in game currency, it isn't actually used for anything other than something to give away in tournamentsBlood Bowl II: $5.99
Oh, neat.
Blood Bowl II: $50 DLC, in-game currency
Oh.
I bought the base game. There's a bundle for just the DLC that's about the same as the legendary edition minus the base game, so if I like the base game enough, I might get that. It's not as bad as it seems. Blood bowl is my favorite game. I play the tabletop, a weekly league in BB2, and write articles for the NAF. But it also takes a special kind of masochist to enjoy. It's also a very difficult game, so let me know if you need any helpI bought the base game. On the other hand, Monster Hunter releases in two weeks, so that may be the duration of the game for me. Depends how much it sucks me in.
Rolling triple skulls when trying to block a goblin with your ogre is an acquired taste, yes.Blood bowl is my favorite game. Morg's the best player there is!Rolling triple skulls when trying to block a goblin with your ogre is an acquired taste, yes.
Thanks! I didn't know it was difficult, so the warning is much appreciated. I'll let you know.Blood bowl is my favorite game. I didn't much care for Stellaris but it's not really my jam anyway. Loved Pillars, see if you can find my character in it!Humble Paradox Bundle
$1 Tier: Cities in Motion 2, Magicka 2, Majesty 2 Collection
Pay the Average Tier (currently $7.15): Crusader Kings II, Pilars of Eternity, Hearts of Iron III Collection, Europa Universalis III Complete
$12+ Tier: Stellaris
I'm a a little surprised by the lack of Cities Skylines content, but it goes on sale often enough. Kind of tempted to get this for Pillars of Eternity, which I've heard a lot of good things about. Stellaris, too. Thoughts on this bundle?
I actually prefer GTA 4's realistic downerness as compared to the rest of the series, but that's like 90% BECAUSE Saints Row is my wacky fix.I don't want to dissuade you, but man, GTA 4 was such a fucking downer. Especially compared to the hard swerve into "happy-go-splodey" that Saints Row was taking at the time.
Bully was pretty interesting though, I wish they'd remake it and flesh it out some - it was good but it had potential to be uh-MAZ-ing that went unrealized
L.A. Noire was really interesting and engaging butThe ending is total bullshit and ruined everything for me.
GTA4: Everything is kind of brown and your cousin won't fucking stop pestering you, even when you're on a tricky mission where you need to snipe some dudes before they spot you Edition
I was seriously considering posting that song.
All of this. I didn't mind the setting. I missed the more tongue-in-cheek and silly GTA's, but as many have said, Saint's Row filled that void.GTA4: Everything is kind of brown and your cousin won't fucking stop pestering you, even when you're on a tricky mission where you need to snipe some dudes before they spot you Edition
Yeah the driving controls weren't great. All of this. I didn't mind the setting. I missed the more tongue-in-cheek and silly GTA's, but as many have said, Saint's Row filled that void.
The cousin shit drove me batty, though. "No, I'm NOT going bowling with you because I'm literally in the middle of a mission!" and yet he still gets pissy if you say no.
My biggest issue was the driving mechanics. Was it just me or did a lot of cars slide way too much when you hit the brakes? Like they were on ice? There was a racing mission that took me FOREVER to beat because of this.
