Chicken breast with mozzarella, topped with roasted tomatoes, garlic, and pine nuts. Really tasty for an "ah, stuff is expiring" improv.
PELE DEMANDS A SACRIFICEFinally assembled the Weber grill I bought last month and threw some teriyaki chicken breasts on it.
I'm gonna be having a Whataburger when I visit Houston in a couple weeks. And a B.o.B Ranchero. I can't freaking wait! That and an Ultimate Cheeseburger and 2 tacos from Jack in the Box.Having a Double-Cheese Whataburger with fries & a diet Dr. Pepper - for lunch.

Well, first, they're not at all tacos, really. I debated calling them wraps, but eh.... Anyway, they're Trader Joe's Rosemary Balsamic Steak Tips, which I cooked in a pan and then set to rest. Then I deglazed the pan with a little water and tossed in chopped onion, and a bunch of pre-chopped cole slaw mix (cabbage and carrots). Salt and pepper, and then cooked until tender; and I nearly burnt it because the steak marinade was sweet and I didn't realize I'd need to stir more often than usual. Then I sliced the steak tips, put them in the tortillas with the cabbage and onion mix.At the risk of starting another forum-wide argument about the proper way to eat one's food... would you care to share the recipe? Rhubarb Soda? I've heard of weirder choices...
Our dinner tonight was corn on the cob, potato salad, and barbecued St Louis-style ribs, and I ate until I was stuffed.Damn, there's some nostalgia. I used to eat Campbell's Mushroom soup and rice all the time. Now I'm hungry.
