Yes, I heard that when they first announced Sabrina. Will the show be in the Riverdale universe?
My niece has the female lead in Evil Dead the Musical, in downtown Houston!
Not since July. Of Last year.Hey, @GasBandit, do you still do the "It's Friiiiiiiiiiiiiiday!" thing?
Well, I have some news. It's finally happened. After more than 66 weeks, I couldn't find enough SWFs of suitable material for my friday notifications. Last week was the last one. So, here's an MP4 to commemorate the last time I'll be letting you guys know that it's fridaaaaaaaaaaaaay.
I thought about just continuing on with MP4s, or starting back at the first one again and working back through from start to finish, but with flash being more and more excluded from browsers with every patch, it's probably just a good time to put the whole thing to bed.
If you wanna see any of the old "It's Friday" flashes, they're all at http://gasbanditry.com/flash/
Bah, took you over a year to notice!Boooooooooooo
I noticed. I remember when you posted about it. I even went back and reclicked on the entire archive at that point.Bah, took you over a year to notice!
And like I said, browser companies (especially google) are doing everything they can to kill flash. Chrome won't even let me load an SWF in a tab anymore.
I'm just booing that an alternative solution has never been found.
In the end, I bought Diary of a Wimpy Kid because that is the only one I found in spanish. Can she read english? I don't know about Spanish, but maybe translations exist... anyway, I'd recommend books by Beverly Cleary, Roald Dahl, and... well, maybe this will help.
Now you can read all the conspiracy theories about how Greg, the protagonist, is a sociopath. The theory got so popular that the author responded to it. Basically he said, well kind of, but most kids are a little sociopathic. In the end, I bought Diary of a Wimpy Kid because that is the only one I found in spanish.
The Magic Treehouse series was a favorite for both of my kids at that age. And the books can be found in Spanish.I'm proud that Gaby loves to read. I hope this love survives primary school. Any book recommendation for a 8 years old girl?
Well are you?My daughter asked me if I was an adult earlier.
WTF?
Fair question. Hobo reminds me of Hobbes on occasion. My daughter asked me if I was an adult earlier.

I just... how terrible is your company that you quite via WEBPAGE? That's just amazing to consider. When I quit, all I had to do is go to a secure company webpage and enter my termination date. Click the box for retire. There were folks who never told the boss, and if the boss wasn't doing his job, the employee could give his computer to the computing department and turn in the badge and Senior parking pass to security and he was gone. No need to rant and rave at the PHB.
Sonic was my favorite, pre-surgery. It was so fucking good. I think I'd slit someone for some tots even now.Apparently Arby's is buying Sonic. I didn't think Sonic could possibly get any worse than it already was, but there ya have it.
Add another thing to the list of things the millennials are killing, divorce lawyers.

They have like 4 hot dogs on the menu, wouldn't say that's specializing in hot dogs. Weinerschnitzel and James Coney Island come more to mind on a chain that specializes in hot dogs.I honestly think Arby's is a lot better than it used to be when it was just a roast beef joint? It's basically the only place I can go to and consistently get an okay Reuben or Gyro while on the road. It buying Sonic makes sense; Sonic specializes in hotdogs and it's the only big chain that does. With the Arby's identity now being "the place to get stuff you can't from other chains", it's a good fit. It's sort of like the KFC/Long John Silvers combo places; frying up some chicken really isn't that different from frying up fish and some people just won't eat fish.
Those aren't national chains... Weinerschnitzel only has 358 locations, most of which are on the west coast and JCI has less than 30. Sonic has over 3500 locations, multiple locations in almost every state and is the only major chain to offer hot dogs other than Dairy Queen. It is their "special" product; everyone has a burger, but only they advertise their hot dogs on a serious level. They have like 4 hot dogs on the menu, wouldn't say that's specializing in hot dogs. Yum! doesn't own them anymore. They sold both Long John Silvers and A&W together due to low sales. I don't blame them; I went to one a few months back and the burger was average at best... definitely not worth the price. The only other national brand I know of that even bothers with hot dogs (except for the occasional stunt by Burger King) is A&W, and I have no idea how many locations they have these days outside of the Yum! Brand combo stores.
Oh, without question. There's an old drive-in style A&W here in town, and it's just about the worst burger I've ever had - and that's really saying something. The only thing they get right, consistently, is their fries, and that stops the moment they attempt to add anything to them other than salt - seriously, who the hell uses breaded and fried cheese curds for "poutine"? They're also rather famous for never being able to spell half the items on their sign, even if they have a big window decal that spells a word correctly... though, they can be pretty difficult words. You know, words like chololate, valinna, spicey, bana, or shke. I've avoided reviewing them anywhere officially only because the horse isn't just dead, it's been reduced to skeletal remains.Yum! doesn't own them anymore.
