You know, for having a dog AND a child, your carpet is astonishingly clean.

Actually, it's a combination of luck/planning/cleaning fairly often.

Little Zeus has arrived. He is a cutiepie.
Doomweasels are created from Jello and rubber bands. They have to be left to set for 24-48 hours, depending on size.
They are then given mind-altering drugs to increase their energy and stamina.
A vigorous training regime is set up for them, including tunneling,
sapping,
and overland reconnaissance.
After a hard day of training, doomweasels will settle down for a nutritious snack made from their enemies...
then a well-earned rest.
Nighty-night, doomweasels.

It's their not-so-hidden superpower. Who could fight back against those cuties? No-one until it's too late, that's who.
For years now, I've assumed the last moments of my life will go, "Aww, hey cuties, where'd you come from? You want to pl-AAARGH! NO! MY LEGS! STOP! NO! I NEED THAT ORGAN TO LIVE! AIIIIEEEE...*".

Gotta go nap!
He does love to nap on my hand. I think its the warmth. But once I place him in his terrarium he gets active and runs around.
He can go quite long on his running wheel and I hear him digging around in his wood shavings.
We watch a lot of Parks and Rec. together and he loves it when I hum songs from Moulin Rouge.

How old is he?
2 months and 1 day. He is very young.
Since I've been in lurk mode forever I figured I'd introduce ya'll to the zoo.
Some of you may remember Bo.
Bo was at one time the youngster. Corrin passed away a few years ago, however, and he had since become majestic.
Next we have Preston.
Preston was my sisters cat. She went through a rough living situation for a while and Preston came to stay with us...and he has remained.
He's a really, really dumb animal but we love him.
Next is a twofer!
To the right is Mini. She's dainty. She likes to keep to herself except when Jet is in the room. She was also pregnant this past year which brings me to the buddy on the left. That is one of her four sons and the only one we kept. Nedjem won my heart over soon as he opened his eyes. He'd sit and watch me do whatever while his brothers were playing, mewing at me to be picked up. I can honestly say I've never loved an animal more that this bloody cat.
One more!
This is Kaya! My brother-in-law had her since a puppy but they were having trouble dealing with her anxiety and jealousy over their baby and, with a new little one on the way, they felt it best she was rehomed. My husband has been in love with this dog since he first met her so there was no choice. She had to come home with us. She's a good doggo as long as you watch her...but leaving the house is a gamble because she will act like we are never coming back and begin to wreck shit. She's getting better though!

How does Kaya do with the kitties? I can see her peeking at them in the third photo.
It was rough the first month but they've settled.
Nedjem is not even a year old yet so he was the first to be like "Oh! BIG CAT. BIGGEST CAT!" so he is always hanging out with her, trying to play with her and stuff. She gets scared when the cats start chasing each other, tho. I think she thinks they are fighting for real and just wants to get out of the way.
For those that don’t follow me elsewhere, I said goodbye to my Pupper on Monday.
I don’t know how to begin to process it. It feels strange that he’s gone and I’m not. We joked that he was immortal since he lived so much longer than anyone thought he would. I wish that was the case. I miss him.

I found a way to keep the cat quiet and happy. See, usually, when I get home, he meows for attention a lot, and scratches my chair or jumps on me every 10 minutes, no matter how much attention I give him.
Yesterday it was a little chilly, so I got a blanket off the bed and put it over my legs. He curled up on the tail of it and went to sleep.
So tonight, I tried an experiment... when he started meowing, I went and got the blanket again, and just put it on the floor next to me.
Boom.
