Former President and Convicted Felon Trump Thread

Our president, on a trip to Mount Vernon, spoke of George Washington naming the site....

“If he was smart, he would’ve put his name on it...You’ve got to put your name on stuff or no one remembers you.”

Yes, as we all know, absolutely no one remembers George Washington.

Apparently the tour guide reminded him that he lives and works in Washington D.C., to which the President "simply laughed."

This fucking world we live in... I just don't understand anymore.

20 bucks says it was an evil laugh as he decided just then to rename the city Trumpington B.S.

Hospitals are finally starting to learn that doctors accepting free pens and koozies influences them, but the justice department has no problem with the President personally benefiting from foreign governments. What the ever-loving fuck?

Apparently the White House pressured ICE to round up detainees they arrested at the border and ship them on busses to cities of prominent Trump critics, and then release them on the streets with no warning or supports in place. This was specifically mentioned in an email to hurt the president’s “enemies.”

You know, just ruining lives and treating migrants like pawns to fuck with people you don't like. The usual.

"Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election did not conclude President Donald Trump committed a crime but also did not exonerate him, Mueller’s report said. "

Well, thanks, Bobby, you've been a big help.

The official logic is terrible;

The DOJ can not indict s president,
Since they can not indict a president, they can not accuse him of a crime,
Since they can not accuse a president of a crime, no evidence of a president's criminal actions may be released.

It's up to congress to impeach or wait until out of office.

It's like, he feels the evidence isn't airtight enough to prosecute without question, but it definitely didn't clear him. A less Trump-friendly AG would probably move forward; as it is, Barr is acting as the President's defense attorney.

Honestly I can't believe we live in a world where the only reason the president isn't facing any real charges, is because no one around him listened and carried out his orders to obstruct.
How the hell did he read this and feel exonerated?

Remember that thing where we guessed he can't actually read?

I'm betting his statement about being exonerated was crafted before anybody even knew the contents of the report.

It also looks like SHS admitted that when she said "People at the FBI were unhappy with Comey" right after his firing, that she basically made up the remark on the fly.

Or, you know, as per DoJ policy, he felt like he can't prosecute the sitting President, and left it up to Congress to continue...
