It's your stream and your audience, you have a right to ask people to leave who you don't want to associate with. If you want to be nice, give him a final warning, with the understanding that if he does it again he gets banned. And then follow through and ban him when he does it again.Putting this here anonymously but it should be very easy to tell who this is.
I have a hard decision to make about my Twitch stream. There’s a guy who is a regular who just drags people down. He’s needy, he’s overly dramatic, and he can be very annoying. But he is also one of my first subs and has been a loyal follower. I also know for a fact, however, that there are people who won’t watch when he’s on with me. I’ve talked to him and he does get better for a short time, but then it’s right back to where he is. Talking about killing himself all the time, threatening people with violence, and generally just being a huge downer. I’m sure any of you who watch know who this is.
I know he’s not my problem. I know that if I tell him to leave he’ll just find someone else to glom onto. But it just would feel wrong to do it. But I don’t think I’ll ever grow with him around.
But he's also just one guy. If one guy's driving multiple others away from your stream, then from my dispassionate bystander's perspective, the math seems rather straightforward. But he is also one of my first subs and has been a loyal follower.
I honestly thought it was due to the games you chose to play and that you weren’t putting as much effort into engaging the viewer.I lost most of my regulars because of him specifically
They left before that. And specifically told me why.I honestly thought it was due to the games you chose to play and that you weren’t putting as much effort into engaging the viewer.

That also is true. The reason I do is because it lets me banter during games like NMS that can be boring without talking. Also it's your stream. Most streamers don't generally have an open voice channel that any follower can join during a stream.
What the hell man, give a hoot don't pollute!Guys, I'm so sorry for wrecking your streams.
Even setting aside the fact that you know he's hurting your stream - would you play with the dude off-stream if he behaved like that? Assuming you wouldn't, would him paying you a couple dollars a month change that? This isn't you being a jerk, it's his actions having consequences. And it's not like that hasn't been made clear to him (repeatedly, apparently).Just had "the talk" with him. He understands. I told him he's fine in certain games but PUBG and the like we might do a duo or two but other than that no more. I know I had to do it, but I still feel like a jerk.
*cries in Dave*Moving sucks.

Yeah, that's a Hugh Grant thing."No we can't have a secret word of the day like Pee Wee's Pkayhouse."
