Also, searching for those comics reminded me that Kickasso is wielding The Staff of Notangle. "This staff will destroy any magical bindings, thereby freeing the wielder." Nah, that won't be relevant...

He's cursed by the god-demon to be a prison for the damned. Turning him into a a demi lich seems to fit the bill, but can that happen unwillingly?

Or did Kore go into all this willingly, I wonder?

"Forced to forever wander the worlds, seeking out and destroying Evil in all its forms"? Sounds like the sort of...sacrifice Kore might be willing to make.
