Video Game News and Miscellany

What is going to happened with FO76 is Bethesda is EVENTUALLY going to abandon it and THEN the fanbase will fix it into something playable. But it won't happen until Bethesda stops being involved.

That's assuming Bethesda will allow free mods on F76 eventually. I'm pessimistic enough to think that this is their first foray into restricting or even removing free mods in their future games. From now on, if you want to mod your game, you have to buy them from our in-game store! Microtransactions for everybody!

Eh, I don't see people making pirate servers for this, it's just too much of a mess.

Well, considering they've already restricted access to mods in a centralized location, that's not far fetched. In fact, they've tried it before and were flamed so hard they recanted. But they'll try it again.

Just kidding on the rating, Bhamsters. I've never watched the show (the trailers made me want to throttle every character), but if you like it, you do you. I won't judge... Openly.

I liked it for a while, because I could identify with some of the issues.
But when the plot of the show became "Laugh at all the stuff that goes on in the nerd zoo," it became less funny.

Quite all right there, Simster, judge away! It certainly wouldn't be the worst thing I like, so I'd prefer if you guys judge me based on my sitcom preferences instead of, say, the stuff in my porn folder. :D

Well, I mean, if I got your permission...

*judges Canadianly (that's politely, with consent and if it's not too much trouble, more maple syrup?*

No longer a rumor:

EA comes back to Steam with new games
A pre-order page for next month's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is already up on the Steam store, and EA promises "other major titles" like The Sims 4 and Unraveled Two will be available on Steam in "the coming months." Multiplayer titles like Apex Legends, FIFA 20, Battlefield V, meanwhile, will be available on Steam "next year," with cross-play between the Steam versions and those on EA's existing Origin service.
Everyone else hates Epic, I guess?

Wait, you can buy the game on Steam, but you still have to have Origin installed to play it?
Why would I want to eat a double-decker DRM sandwich like that?
