the benefit of the doubt I’m giving @ScytheRexx - not the cops involved - is that the only first hand witness video we had at the time (and that i posted), the girls in the car are screaming “that man has a knife!” so our first impression isn’t coming from the cops, but of the people recording. Having said that, I have no training or knowledge of what standard procedure is when dealing with a guy meandering around with a knife, but i sure as shit know it isnt - or shouldnt be - “wait until he goes to enter a building and then run up on him six deep and open fire.”

She was wounded, but I don't know how badly. Frank Nitty's marchers were shot at at their hotel in Bedford, PA, while a large group of armed chuds were forming up downtown to protect their city from the violent antifa rioters (the marchers). This was after one of them was shot in the face and then arrested yesterday (but released because the cops couldn't find anything to charge him with). This is Cino, by the way, if you're following along with the marchers.

Uh, watch the videos, he shot someone, was chased, the protestors tried to take his gun away, he shot two more people, then got away and ran to the police who let him through. Thats why they had to.get him today. Also hes in the group beforehand where police are telling them they are glad they are there and they will funnel protestors toward them as "they know how to handle themselves".

Yeah. He was in the police explorer's program for fuck's sake. The cops absolutely knew who he was. They deputized him. They supported him. And when he killed someone, they let him calmly walk out of the city.
On Saturday, 200 armed chuds showed up in Portland. Several of them have warrants for their arrest for violent crimes. One of them was on probation, and as a condition of his probation, is prohibited from attending protests in Multnomah County. When asked why the cops made no effort to stop them during a press conference the following Monday, the new chief of police told reporters that they don't really try to make arrests unless they're absolutely certain that charges will stick (bullshit, they've been arresting upwards of 20 people per night for the last four nights in the BLM protests), and that they certainly don't arrest people during violent confrontations. Besides, it looked like everyone who was getting beaten, bear maced, shot, and hit with homemade hand grenades wanted to be there and were willing participants in all of their injuries. They then escorted the Proud Boys and 3pers out of the city, and declared an unlawful assembly on all of the BLM protesters.
Today, the Gresham Police Department is going to be the site of a flag wave hosted by another Proud Boy, also with a warrant, who brandished a firearm in the middle of the protest on Saturday. He's been holed up in the mountains, hiding from Antifa for the last four days, but is coming out now because the Gresham PD have welcomed the supportive protest for today. On Sunday, there was a massive armed response to the area where he was rumored to be holed up and everyone assumed it was for him. Realistically, it was because a transient with a "spear" threatened a deputy and then broke into someone's unoccupied hunting cabin and 30 or 40 armed cops, including SWAT, the Sheriff's Posse, the Sheriff's Mounted Posse, the Sheriff's SWAT team, SWAT from three other local departments, and a bunch of backup out of Portland were necessary to dig him out. But they weren't looking for Swinney to begin with, so it was literally just a random transient dude that (in their minds) warranted that psychotic of a response.
When I said I hoped things resolved quickly, what I really should have said was that I hope there's a pause between the first battle and the second so that we can get some supplies to people on the front lines, so they can survive being shot.
