And that is why it is stupid. I'm pretty sure this video is taking the proverbial piss.
The sad thing is, that AFAICT, it's actually real, and NOT intended as taking the piss. People are actually talking about this as if it has merit.

I've never understood why people find this so fascinating. I don't know how to work a telegraph.
I think this kind of thing is interesting when you can almost as easily do the reverse, with old people trying to use new technology. They're just as lost, when young people can use it easily because they're used to it.

That was how the Fine Bros (who fell from grace when they tried to insist they owned the concept of the "reaction youtube video" litigiously) got their start... they gave kids old technology/shows/music, and gave seniors new technology/shows/music, and recorded the fumbling. Then as the kids aged up they introduced Teens react and later still, College kids react.
And I've watched enough old westerns I'm pretty sure I could figure out how to use a telegraph, even if my vocabulary in morse is very limited
