They don't see those points because they aren't media literate.Star Trek? You mean the socialist utopia where money does not exist and all the main characters work for a single global government? That show?
He makes good points, but fuck this guy so hard otherwise. They don't see those points because they aren't media literate.
This is a really good video about why conservatives like Star Trek
I'm not familiar with him, what'd he do?He makes good points, but fuck this guy so hard otherwise.
He's also hated in atheist circles. Though that seems to be because he had the shitty take of not being anti-feminist when being He-man woman hater was all the rage in atheist circles.I found him watching Trek vids and enjoyed them for the most part, then he suddenly puts out a video about CM Punk, a wrestler. Weird. Ok, but he's a Chicagoan and they will run over Jesus Christ himself if it allows CM Punk to have an easier time with traffic. In the video he vehemently defends Jim Cornette, an immensely racist, xenophobic, homophobic and sexist old wrestling personality.
Here's some of Jim Cornette's fine stories.
He got fired from his last wrestling job for making a joke on commentary about a guy being as afraid as a man with a bucket of fried chicken in Africa. He uses coded language for 'gay' to disparage specific wrestlers. He calls every female Japanese wrestler a "fetish sex object". He's an incredible fan of the n-bomb as he has been recorded saying it hundreds of times and is even more casual when the tape isn't rolling.
He defends him because he likes his views on wrestling and believes that Jim isn't actually a racist, sexist, homophobic trash bag but that he says things to get a reaction, but doesn't actually mean them. That tweet above is from 4 years ago. People defending Jim Cornette to the death despite being one the biggest pieces of shit in wrestling is as old as the internet and the thing is, Cornette isn't some fucking genius. He's never run a successful wrestling company. He's just some disgusting old carny that has stuck around for decades.
I've got nothing but side eyes for anything this guy says since. If he's willing to excuse that kind of miserable awful shit because he likes his wrestling opinions....
Other than the text on the shirt, I'm not sure what's trying to be communicated here. That Elon Musk is happy and frolicking?
Sure, but it's basically the equivalent of when kids would call each other gay as an insult. Just because Musk would take it as an insult doesn't mean we should do it.I think it is communicating, "Elon would hate this, haha." And that's about this.
