I was once sitting across from my wife in a restaurant, and I sneezed while I had a mouthful of burger, and sprayed semi-chewed burger bits all over her. She said if I'd done that before we'd gotten married, she would never have married me. Joke's on her now, though, I managed to suppress all my sneezes during the period she was just my girlfriend!

Wife says there's an Olde Englishe versione as well, but couldn't find it.

EDIT: ...because it was Gaelic, not olde Englishe.
