CBC called it. Liberals won. Thank Christ. Some of the races have been far too close for comfort.

Now it's whether it's a majority or minority government.

Yeah, I'm no fan of the Liberal party. They're far too centrist for my left leaning values.

But I'll take them over a Conservative government any day. They're still the lesser of two evils.

Yep, the choice was between a small shift to the right and someone to hopefully stand up to Trump or a big shift right and someone to fold on everything while doing his best to ruin everything internally as well. Both bad options, but one was definitely a lot worse and hopefully whoever steps in to replace Polievre isn't competent enough to pull a win out next time.

Fun fact: my riding (as it looks right now, still one poll unreported) went Liberal by less than 200 votes out of nearly 40 000 total. Glad I made sure to get out and participate even if I was plugging my nose as I filled out the ballot.
