Babysitting is less twitch than playing L4D2, so I'll get a chance to make some sandwiches tonight while you guys are stuck killing zombies, unable to leave your computers.
So, what genre is babysitting?
- Point and Click Adventure? (From the early FMV days) Listen to lots of poorly enunciated voice acting that usually has no connection to a plot. Try every item in your inventory until you solve the puzzle.
- Survival horror? Mosly the same as above, but with awkward combat tacked on, and a bunch of leap-out-at-you moments intended to shock and scare.

I'll be there tonight but might be 10-15 minutes late.

Hope to see some people there, and I hope y'all can forgive me if I'm really fucking rusty. :eek:hwell:

Definitely the latter. Especially with my little cousins. I wish we'd brought the camera.

The former is more like going to visit large numbers of my family.

That was a lot of fun :) did a 3v3 with Gusto, fig, shawnacy, myself, gab and daagard (friend of gab)

Maaaan I suck sometimes.

But I definitely ran farther than Shawn did on that coaster, and got some kinda Equilibrium-style kill on Dan as I was doing it.

Fun times my homies. Let's do it again sometime.

Bowielee (Creepshow on Steam) was playing in the first game as well. Speaking of which, OW! I'm not playing two full games of Versus in a row, ever again. My shoulder, which has been sore all week, is killing me.

Oh Yea! :) it can be taxing if you don't have the right setup (ergonomic keyboard and setup) it is pretty nice. I just can't play too much due to vision issues (I get nauseated after a while)

My upper back aches a bit and I hate wearing my fucking headset for more than an hour or two, but it was worth it.

heh. My new gaming rig has ergonomic chair, keyboard, mouse and PC setting. yea I'm getting old but comfortable. Luckily I have my own little office for my stuff so no needs for headphones (plus my wife doesn't mind if I play)

My PC gaming setup is ideal except for the me-Pepsi proximity situation, which could stand to be improved. Good times, all, we should do eet again.

I need a mic separate from my headphones, seeing as my headset is so uncomfortable and my new speakers are so excellent.

It's not the ergonomics that are the problem, at least not at my computer desk. My shoulder and back problems are made worse by computing, but they're caused by my poor health in general.

I had one of the nicest gaming chairs. It was so comfortable you could lean back and fall asleep in it. Then I had to leave it behind when I moved to California. And then my brother broke it for good measure while I was away.

This makes me sad. I hate it when people don't respect good furniture :( (they are hard to that suits YOU) I shop for like months to find a decent chair for myself.

Kill him and fashion his remains into a new, screaming, chair...

You found my blueprints, didn't you?

DnD is cancelled tonight so Jay and I are gonna smack some bitch zombies up.

Message kmiller52 on Steam if you wanna join up. :D

My account name is kmiller52. My NICKNAME is Gusto. And I'm already on your list. Or at least you're on mine.

Ooo, I played City 17 for L4D2 recently, it's awesome. It puts the survivors on a trip through Episode 1. Some minor niggles, such as the narrow corridors and space not being entirely bot friendly, and a few of the crescendos feeling too short (plus there's a really easy cheese spot for the underground elevator crescendo), but on the whole it's definitely Valve-quality.

So, anyone here form the Socialist States of Western Eurasia?!

Playing with people from Obamastan is fun, but the ping is killing me...
