Any English translation yet?-Red Cliff - Another one no one will agree with, but watching the legendary battle of Chi Bi, as directed by John Woo, was absoutely breath-taking

The copy that I saw at a friend's house had English subtitles that were supposedly pretty accurate.Any English translation yet?-Red Cliff - Another one no one will agree with, but watching the legendary battle of Chi Bi, as directed by John Woo, was absoutely breath-taking
Check out the #1 on their list. I'm a fucking genius. The A.V. Club posted it's list of the 50 best films of the decade. It's pretty interesting! The list that I'm preparing shares several items with theirs. Frankly, though, I'd like to see some lists from the individual film writers, rather than a collaborative list. Here's the list
I hope those of you who haven't posted are working hard on your lists!
But most of those films were not popular. We all know the buying public is what matters in concerns of taste. The A.V. Club posted it's list of the 50 best films of the decade. I was just going to post this. Interesting list. Now I really have to see Spirited Away. The A.V. Club posted it's list of the 50 best films of the decade. It's pretty interesting! I wish I'd have seen some of them. I like the way they gave a synopsis of each one. It's also worth noting that the first comment in the HUGE comment thread is from Scott Tobias (the best of the film staff imo) giving his personal top ten. I ain't readin through that entire fucking thread to find if the other folks posted theirs, but here is Mr. Tobias' list:
1. 25TH HOUR
2. IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE
3. BEFORE SUNSET
4. YI YI
5. ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND
6. NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN
7. THERE WILL BE BLOOD
8. ZODIAC
9. DOGVILLE
10. WALL-E
Well, it is the only movie on the list that couldn't possibly be underrated.Eternal Sunshine is massively overrated.
I know, there's all that weird shit that doesn't make sense and Jim Carrey doesn't fart or hump an inanimate object onceEternal Sunshine is massively overrated.

I like 25th Hour, and I don't usually like Spike Lee movies. Ed Norton is pretty great in it. Although, I don't get the major love for the movie. Nice movie, but not great, IMO.I wanna see 25th Hour and Before Sunset since I continually see them pop up on shit like this, and I feel left out
What about Downfall? I really liked Conspiracy, but Downfall was fantastic.1. Conspiracy (2001)
I just want to take this opportunity to let everyone know that THIS IS PERFECTLY OKAY. No one who doesn't get paid for it would have the time to see all 5000+ movies that have come out in the past 10 years, and even those that do get paid for it have trouble. Just think about the movies that stood out to you.I totally haven't seen some important films I probably should have
I am going to do the exact same thing, but mine will be better and coolerI'm settling in to my top 10. Once I finalize it, I'm going to make some really cool header images and start writing about them. You dudes will get a POST when January comes.
