I was driving to work today and I got behind a car (of indeterminate make due to my not knowing how to identify cars) which had the license plate that read:

LSTR NME

Now, I immediately went to "Lister Name" but that doesn't make much sense.

What do YOU guys think it means?

L lil

str strength

n in

me ?

lil' strength in me?

Really this was his plan the whole time. Get a nonsensical plate and bug people with it all day. You just got IRL trolled.

I'm now going off the idea that the last word does indeed stand for Enemy. But nothing makes sense with the first word.

Wait! Could it be...Lester & Me?

AUGH!

Someone's going to come into Dave's office later today after he doesn't show up for the meeting, and there'll just be paper covering the walls with variations of what this might mean.

the only word Dave will be able to say is "LSTRNME" over and over again. He'll be covered in blood, but it won't be his and no one will know why.

This makes me want to pick a bunch of random letters for a custom licence plate just to annoy people.

Haha, I agree with Chuck on this one.

Man, I wish my cell phone took better pics. Back in May on my road trip, this guy was driving around New Mexico with the license plate "POOLANES"

heh.. It beats having other stuff on your plate. This forum could drive me insane with the same tire old jokes and discussions.

Listerine me.

I was thinking the same think when I first saw it

There is a site with the name LSTR.net it is a site for a guy named Greg Lester.

Of course there is also a company called LandStar System Inc. that shortens there name to LSTR. They provide transportation services.

NME is a Music magazine in the UK.

Or NME could stand for Nissan Motorsport Europe, a British based motorsport arm of Nissan Motors.

"LSTR NME" doesn't show up on a google search.

However, Lester Enemy shows up as being a real name.

This is quite clearly an anagram of "Stremln" which, of coarse, is Scandinavian for "Honk if you're horny."

I hate plates like LSTR NME. The owners think they're so fucking cleaver, yet no one can figure it out.

I'm pretty sure it's 'Alister and Me or Lester and Me" I fucking hate it. It's probably not even meant to be anything. Just some old people's vanity plate wither their initials or some shit.

So anyway, here's my list reiterated:

Camaro's: ssa ecin
Jeep: nod ores

**** edited **** I was going to post my current plate, but then I remembered Mav.

I love vanity plates!

So are we supposed to guess what they mean? Ok

Jeep:
No odorves
Nod OR ELSE!!:mad2:
No dunking Oreos

Camero:
Salsa Everyone check it now
Yeah I got nothing :([/QUOTE]

Camaro: nice ass (backward)

Jeep: No Doors (as in take off your doors if you drive a wrangler)

I just saw another one today, but this time I had the opportunity to ask what it said.

The plate read:

I LUV2ICH

The only thing I could get out of it was "I Love to Itch". So the guy was in line in front of me and I HAD to ask. See if you can figure it out without looking at the answer in the spoiler tag...

It's a typo. He wanted "I LUV2TCH" as in "I Love to Teach". But the DMV couldn't read his writing. He has to wait a year before he can change it back.

I think it also means I love to touch. Don't let this man teach your kids.

Even though it didn't make much sense I figured out that it was "I Love to Teach" before clicking on the spoiler you listed.
