Well, she's really interested in me (my brother's GF introduced us, and after our dates all she did was tell my brother's GF how amazing a person I was and she was happy we were introduced. She's also been texting and calling me every morning and night since she left) and regrets that we took things too fast because. She wants to get to know me better before getting physical again.

Problem is, not only does she live so far away, her parents are SUPER overprotective and doesn't bode well for visits.

I think I'm gonna keep my options open around here, talk to the girlie over the phone/texts and go about my business. *shrug*

Actually I just post if I happen to come here for reference material. Unfortunately I don't even qualify as a lurker anymore. Shego dumping her ex was post-worthy.

Ask yourself if you're just feeling the rebound from your rebound. If you're sure it's totally justified, let her know. Sounds like she likes you, so it would be a shame to hurt her just because someone else hurt you. Maybe you won't be an item, but you might make good drinkin' buddies or something. Guys do it all the time (though with more drinking and less of the nibbling and running thigh sweats).

Satisfying one's carnal needs is all fun and games until someone's brain gets in the way.

Well since she wants to take it slow AND she knows I currently am out of a long term relationship, I think she knows the "deal".

Like I said, I'm willing to give her the opportunity, but I'm not staying exclusive till I see some more "push" from her camp.

Speaking of which, I got a new pic from her in a dress she bought today. She says it's for her next "visit" over here. :unibrow:

No she's out, it's just that she lives in po-dunk nowhere, and they're Hispanic.

Her sister got pregnant and married at 17 so they made sure she didn't too. Which doesn't make much sense anymore, since she came out within the last 5 years. Guess their old habits die hard.

She says she's only really brought one girlfriend home in the past, and that didn't go over so swimmingly as it was.

Hurray for difficult, long distance, complicated relationships.

It does, but Texas is a country in itself, anywhere you go in it, is exactly like the place you came from. There's almost no diversity from border to border. To not have experienced other parts of the country at LEAST leaves one very "worldly" dense.

I recentely found out my new girl was in the military for a couple years so she did some real traveling.
