Yes I think we covered a lot here. I don't know if I want to be called Halforum Legion, The Knights of Zork, or Robo Kitten Attack Squad.
Tonight at 5:00-5:30 CST I will be on my Draenei Paladin, Lakaru. I should be on most of the afternoon, though I will be taking breaks for chores and dinner. As soon as I log on, I will be heading to town to grab a charter. We should make sure we have the name and tabard picked out. If you have any other options, do give them. Also, realize that while a lot of us will be halforum based, most likely not all of the players will. We can have a name not based out of halforum if you have a suggestion.
Here are the tabard designs. To vote for one, pick the column and row. So for instance, the one in the top left is 11. The one below it is 12. The one beside it is 21.
One rule is that we should try to concentrate on a single character on the server. We should keep it casual but if we plan to raid a bit during Cataclysm we should at least all have one 80 on the server, then we can spread out and make other characters during the week when we are not raiding. Also, no one is bound to raiding but if you are taking some time off please do warn me so I can plan how we are going to handle raid nights in the future. Just not showing up can be hard on other players. I plan to make my Paladin a Protection Paladin, with Holy as my off-spec, so that I can fill either of the more difficult to find roles. I never liked Paladin healing, but changes in Cataclysm is making the spec more desirable to me.
Also, if you guys are kind of new we can take it slow by raiding lower level places like Naxx. That can give everyone a good idea of how the raid game will work before we move on to harder stuff. We don't have to jump into max level raids at the highest progression. All in all lets just have fun, talk a lot, and just enjoy the nights.

As much as I love halforums I am starting to think I would rather have a conventional name. Shadows of Dawn or something, using tabard 11, 31, or 23. If we do decided to vote more for a Hal name, then Hal Knights sounds fine with me.
The guild will need blood from outside these forums to survive. So either a fun name or standard name should work.

I like 12 myself. Silly, nostalgic and still fun. It matches the vibe of this place pretty well.
As far as characters, since I haven't accessed my characters since I was hacked and all my characters were stripped of everything, I'll probably start fresh.
I like playing healers except when raiding (spent too long being a heal lead for several ungrateful guilds that blamed healing for every problem).

I understand completely. I still have a lot of characters on Tichondrius I don't plan to abandon. Its going to be interesting juggling my main characters on Tichondrius with being a GM on Ghostlands.
As for the tabard, seems people are interested in 12, but I find it kind of plain. How about a compromise?
Also Knights of Caerbannog seems kind of long, though I love the reference.
OK, I'm changing my vote. If Knights of Caerbannog is going to be our name then we really need the fluffy bunny tabard 21.

In a side note, I decided to move my level 24 Gnome Mage named Disco Inferno to Ghostlands. Y'know since I have a year to level him

Okay, I am online now, have the charter for Knights of Caerbannog. Just need signatures.
That is a long wait, I might try to pay off a few people to get them to sign just to get it started. Then I can start getting it ready at least. Anyone else if you can log on to sign, please do. I am right now logged on my second paladin, Lakaru.
