Look at the picture, man. An entire episode was dedicated to the phrase "Riley Wuz Here"If it was supposed to be a reference to The Boondocks, it should have said Young Reezy or Pablo Escobar.
Installed some updates and was gonna reboot at a time when no one was online. But Windows Server 2003 apparently doesn't like when one tells it to "do it later" and reboots when it damn well pleases WITHOUT a countdown or any indication that it will do so. Will be more careful in the future.
On principle I prefer to use PNGs since "everyone" has broadband anyway and I have an unhealthy aversion towards image generation loss. But now they're getting so big browser stability is becoming an issue. When I get around to making that Photoshop macro, I'll see what I can do about making it save in both formats.
well, i'm fed up with the cobblestone monstrosity that is/was moss towers. its got to go. so i'm looking for volunteers who are handy with tnt! we've made a good start, but the whole thing has to go!
Use this. It only gives you 2d floorplans (or wallplans, I guess) but it helps with relating exterior to interior.Bah! I think I'm going to tear down my latest build. Kinda annoyed because the exterior is finished, but the constraints on the interior are bothersome. Plan ahead, folks.

Rage, I put my diamond tools in a chest and lagged out, lost my pick and axe , hopefully they will re-appear...if not its back to the mines I go.
Also to whoever put the tnt trap in my secret entrance...... I lol'd. Id been using the ladder since you put up the warning sign, but i usually jump off halfway into the water. Its only because I was climbing out I accidently triggered the explosion. Well played....Either noax or wahad I'm guessing?

Hey Wahad, before you pick a site, could you let me know? I have a couple other projects that are currently not easily detectable.
Also, if anybody is using the line that goes to Driftopia: if it turns out the booster glitches and your cart stops, please destroy the cart so it isn't left behind and stops the next person.

Sorry, Eriol! I was digging down from my place and broke (fell) through to a lava pit. I mined some coal I found there thinking that the light was coming from the lava. then I started exploring and found torches everywhere. When I FINALLY found my way out it was your place. So I'll have to go back & patch that hole. Sorry, man.

At this point I will eventually clear out all the wood and just build stone floors. Growing that tree was a pain...not going to redo it.

Is there any way to check a server log and see who has been on the server and try to figure out if someone not on the forums has been logging on? I personally in the last week or so have seen many names I dont know.
Maybe can narrow it down. I would hate to think such asshattery is comming from a forumite.

Actually, Silvy is my nickname, and I just kind of threw it up on the sign. You can go ahead and hook into my lava moat, I have no problem with that.
For the griefer who has been stealing my lava while I have been away for finals, I have had assurance from fnordbear that he has been keeping an eye on my den for me. Suffice it to say, you are a dick. Burning down the tree. >:T

There's a log, but I can't download it while the server is still writing to it. Noax can probably look at it though.
They've taken steps to address the potential lag. It goes without saying they're on a much more powerful server and bigger pipe... but they've also banned (through use of server mods) all use of fire, water, lava, buckets, tnt and for some reason obsidian. That said, I just went to that server, and I did lose connection after a few minutes.
It's hard as hell to walk anywhere without getting lost there.
