I hope you like my summary, even if it might not be up to par with the one "written" by Doom and not me. lol:
In response to the Falagar's foolish greed, As soon as the adventurers returned to the Wraiths' lair, they were attacked by the three Wraiths and a squad of skeletons. Early on, the Wraiths proved to be difficult enemies with a few tricks up their sleeves: intangibility and invisibility. The skeletons, however, seemed more straightforward. Sylvaria's abilities seemed extremely effective against both the Wraiths and the skeletons, as did a couple of Rathkor's spells, when he was actually able to hit him and not his own teammates. Falagar found himself cowering in the corner, surrounded by the enemy. Bloby, in a much braver attempt than his master, attacked the skeleton from within it's own skull. In an attempt to rescue the cowering Wizard, Rathkor attempted one of his famous Blazing Starfalls, which missed all of the enemies, and hit Falagar, knocking him out. Tydin also goes down, after sustaining a very powerful blow. Sylvaria, tired of the tricks of the Wraiths and and the skeletons, releases a powerful attack which finishes off the last of the unholy creatures.
The party returns upstairs and continues down the opposite hallway at the fork, following a trail of blood. They pass a large double doorway. After reaching a dead end down a very dusty hallway, the Louts spot a specter. Decided it safer not to investigate, and led by Tyrdin who was in a hurry to rescue his ill-fated mother, they decide to turn back and go through the door. Beyond the door was a long staircase, leading deep into the earth.
At the bottom of the stairs was a large room filled with various sarcophagi and statues that lined the walls, holding flames to light the room. While the Louts were investigating, a gust of wind blew out all of the lights, save for the group's Floating Lantern. Tyrdin began to freak out, and screamed into the darkness. Using his powers, he grabbed Falagar and began using him as a human shield. Falagar struggled, managing to break Tyrdin's grip. As he landed on the ground, the floor he landed on sank into the ground with a scraping sound. Suddenly, darts fired from within the darkness and hit Falagar, who cried out in pain. He doubled over in pain. Rathkor realized the pain Falagar was expressing was disproportionate to the pain the darts should have caused, and realized the darts must be poisoned. He pulled out a Gravespawn potion he found earlier and downed the bottle.
What horrors lurk within the darkness? Why is Tyrdin so terrified? Will the Louts survive this unseen force? Find out next time.
