It's the only name she's ever referred to as in the movies. She was merely called the Bride in promotional materials because they needed something to identify her as on movie posters and the like, as she wasn't IDed until the second film.

That being said, it's your thread and I'm being a TOTAL nerd

No prob. I was just watching it the other day, and noticed something interesting - the reason humanity was having such a hard time fighting the Visitors is because their uniforms were made of bulletproof material. The hero was chasing Diana through some structure while she was running for a shuttle. He shot her a few times with a 1911 .45, and she was knocked down and more or less dragged into the shuttle. After it took off, she got up and while you could see where the uniform had been damaged, the bullets were not supposed to have penetrated. That actually made the series make a lot more sense - only captured energy weapons or heavy weapons (explosives mostly) were effective against the Visitors in a firefight.
