Truth be told i can make room, but i'll have to finish up some more games/playthroughs and i don't have the time i use to...
Yea. I keep buying games when they are on sale. 70%-90% off is hard to resist especially on games I was thinking of getting. I end up buying them and hope to play them someday :( (I'm about 15 games behind)

Or, for $2.50 more, I could get Magicka...
That reminds me, Direct2Drive tweeted a couple of 20%-off codes:
"Weekend Sale: Use the code:hailtothechief to get 20% off any game. (US)"
"For our European friends use the code: vatfree to get 20% any game this weekend"

Using one of those would make Magicka just $0.50 more.

It's a good thing Steam has Civ on sale this weekend, because Square Enix week is going out with a whimper. 75%-off the Kayne & Lynch series.

Ugh I'm so far behind on games but I heard damn good things about the first Kane and Lynch game.... what's the price look like for it with the discount? I'd check but work has it blocked.

The things you heard were a lie. Neither of the Kane and Lynch games were any good.

Hm, good to know. Thanks for the heads up. Yahtzee had given the first one thumbs up and the second one thumbs down.

I need to get a gaming-grade PC. I loves me some Front Mission. I have no idea why Squeenix does so little to promote the series over here - FM3 and FM4 were really good games. They never even bothered porting FM5...

Because nobody bought FM3 and FM4? That's basically what it boils down to and it's the primary reason that they made the latest an action game.

I bought them. :( And that goes back to my original point - there was almost no advertising for them.

Lots of indie games going at a discount starting today on Steam:

Mid-week Madness (until Thursday): Braid $2.99

Independent Games Festival 2011 Nominees & Finalists
50%-off through March 7th
Flotilla $4.99
Amnesia: The Dark Descent $9.99
Bit.Trip Beat $4.99
the rest of the finalists are new on Steam and only 10%-off
B.U.T.T.O.N. $2.69
Dinner Date $4.49
NightSky $8.99
Bit.Trip Runner $8.99

Direct2Drive has another $2 Tuesday. Most of the games aren't noteworthy, but today they have Crimsonland. I played the demo for this game a long time ago, and it was awesome. I'm really thinking about picking up the full game to see if it's still fun.

Gamer's Gate is having Racing Week. I don't know anything about racing games, so I don't know which are the notable titles, but I have played TrackMania United Forever and enjoyed it.

That's a damn nice package if you only take Call of Juarez and Assassin's Creed.

Does AC come with the infamous DRM? If so I want nothing to do with it.

Personally I'd take Far Cry 2 over Assassin's Creed. I enjoyed FC2 a lot, especially once the game got going. Both had their frustrations, but FC2 got much better as it progressed, while I just got more frustrated with AC.

No, it doesn't have that anymore. They got rid of it awhile back. Now you only have to connect once.
It's AC2 that has the DRM that requires a constant internet connection. I'd heard that it was toned down, but Steam still lists the game as "Ubisoft requires a permanent Internet connection to play this video game at all times."
