Guys, I'm having some serious internet issues here. It's taken me almost an hour to reach this page.

If I'm unreachable tonight or completely absent from the game, I blame my ISP. Everything seems fine now, but I am currently knocking on wood.

As previously discussed HC will be with us occasionally for the time being. I'm going to depend on you guys to perhaps take turns to play his character.

Who wants to play as him tonight? Here's the files you'll need, should be pretty simple enough.

Things are spotty here... Less so than they were last night and DEFINITELY less than this morning.

We'll see.
Bad weather?

I understand, Gusto.

But why is HC bailing on his second night? Are you Julie? :p

Helga finally succeeds in killing a creature without Falagar stealing his kill, and Gusto wasn't even around. Shame.

Sorry we were floundering at the end there, but I was struggling with what to do with the new situation, and I'm glad Doom suggested we hold off for the next session so we can use all our heads.

The Good Mead setting has grasped my interest immediately though, and the battle had some memorable moments.

Don't miss next session folks, it's going to be an epic one and will certainly define things for a few months in game.

Also, don't take this the wrong way but I'd like players to perhaps play their characters a little closer to heart. I know this session was sort of a poor example for things but generally good characters shouldn't be doing BAD things nor allow BAD things to happen. (ex: killing bear cubs, though I see the reasons why or not really caring about seeing corpses in the streets etc... )

Not getting on anyone, I'd just like folks to retain their character's behavior and motivation, humor aside.

Like you said, it was a poor situation for this sort of thing when we were struggling to figure out what other people's characters would do in these situations; we didn't wanna make them do anything, nor we did we want to keep them from doing anything. An unfortunately as a DM, you couldn't just have them drop unconscious since we weren't exactly in town yet. Everyone was struggling to work with what they had.

No, Helga's alive, and she killed a boss instead of Falagar.

As for the bodies, we couldn't do much for them. The bears, well that was just Tyrdin's true wicked nature revealing itself. :)

Well, if you hadn't piled up a rock wall, you wouldn't have had such a problem getting to the fight. haha

Yeah, though I think you should've described the site of the town while the music was playing rather than one after the other. But the music hammered in the idea of what we were seeing and the atmosphere.

Also, I am sorry I am late with my last Journal entry. I'm working on it, but the reason it's taking so long is because I am also working on what I think is another cool project involving everyone's favorite Dragonborn Sorcerer. I'll get them up as soon as I get it done. Thanks for the patience guys.

This is turning into an awful day.

I won't be able to make it tonight guys, the classmate I trusted to hand in an assignment for me tonight has given me ample reason to NOT trust him anymore. It'll be fun to go to my teacher's office drunk but it wasn't what I wanted to do tonight. :(

Sorry. Hopefully I can get out and be done with it and get back by a reasonable time but that's kind of an outside chance.

Perhaps we should we all discuss another day to hold our game? Thursday isn't working and these last minute issues are pretty damned demotivating.

Don't worry, we are. :)

The game is definitely going to take place and let me tell you that I've arranged a fitting end for Helga as the game starts tonight and it won't be Shawn's traditional "X person falls unconscious".
