Good start there, Charon.

Lemme show you some more.

Ahem...

Just off the top of my hat. Just some general ranting about nothing in particular with a preference for expressions involving sexual inadequacy and/or perversions.

Minor: My workout/supplement plan seems to be having its first effects. My arms are no longer too skinny to wear a T-shirt in public!

Enjoying my lovely early anniversary presents from the fellow. My new headphones are working very well, and I really liked my new comics. :) Eight years this week.

Saw Thor with my Father in Law, went out to eat with friends, and got to play D6 Star Wars RPG with friends for most of the day. All in all, I can't complain.

And a good story teller running it, too. He connected tonight's game with a game we played over 5 years ago. It is weird to catch a glimpse of a character you played ages ago assaulting the Kuat shipyards while you are currently rescuing your enslaved family.

A day that started off looking like it was going to be not so great has turned into a fun day with the family at home.

The Eurovision Song Contest was a bust, but apparently Finland now won the Ice Hockey World Championships.

How do I know? Not by television. I had the balcony door open, and I heard strange, gleeful hollering from somewhere towards the student village. So either a beer truck just collided with a sausage zeppelin, or Finns kicked the Swedes' asses.

Man, it's been a long time a-coming.

Dear Sir,

this event is not a Minor Victory. This is a triumph of Epic proportions.

< Placeholder for the finnish triumph over Sweden in Ice Hockey World Championships 2011 final, which is just starting >

Yep, 6-1 in favor of Finland.

EAT YOUR HEART OUT, SVEDUPELLET!

I got a job! Its not an animation job, its just working at Shoppers Drug Mart, again. But its fulltime, $11/hr, Not even CLOSE to what I want to be doing with my life right now, but at least I can eat again.

What's that? Less than 30 days left in a country whose name starts with I and ends with RAQ. I am going to fill up my bath tub with Guinness when I get home.
Reminds me of the Irish brothers out fishing on a rather large lake, when one of the brothers pulled a lamp into their little row boat. He cleans the lamp, and lo-and-behold a genie appears. The genie decides to grant the brothers a wish each.

The younger brother went first and wished that the entire lake was made of Guinness.

The older brother slapped the younger and said...

"Great, now we have to piss in the boat."

I get to see a doctor tomorrow for the first time in 4.5 years (10 years since I've had a regularly visit-able doctor). I finally have a job that provides health insurance.

I woke up really happy this morning because I had a good dream.

I was at an amusement park with a friend, and Felicia Day was there trying to get a car full of redheads to go on a ride. I tried to convince my friend, but he chickened out because he was too nervous to talk to Felicia. She saw my friend run off, said my red goatee was close enough and pulled me into line. We hung out and she surprised me with knowing more semi-relevant factoids than I normally add to a conversation. Then we were sitting in the lobby of a hotel, and she offered me part of her chocolate bar, so we sat there eating candy together.

Dunno why, but that left me grinning for a good hour after I woke up.

Heh...fair 'nuff...and agreed....

Though this looks to be a better show than Weird PartiAl....

I just got a job interview for tomorrow!

The job is only 6 weeks for a student, and the pay is a bit less than what I'm making now, but it's full time and it's valuable experience and it's a foot in the door with the City of Kitchener, which is a great employer in this area.

:D
