Why did it take me this long to partner beer with pickles? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THIS WAS THE PERFECT COMBINATION OF FLAVOURS?

I'm going to smell pretty awful tomorrow, aren't I?
Have you never been to Octoberfest? You should go this year, stay with Gusto and become a dynamic drinking duo!

Pardon, au je ne parle pas en francais tres bien. Je suis Ontarian et.....notre(?)....ecole france...... uh.....sucks.

I just google translated your post, now I get it.

I also just google translated mine. Well, I guess that proves I didn't google translate it BEFORE posting.

But more importantly, I remembered how to conjugate nous. I have surprised myself.

Ahhh... j'ai utiliser Google Translate... on me dit que "bourré" est de l'argot. Peut-être l'argot de francais du sud... Quand meme, merci, mon vieux!

This is just too good to not relate (and I apologize if someone already has posted this). Apparently free t-shirts were given out at a neo-nazi concert in Germany which had

as the image. However, after it is washed it looks like

this.

So, for those who aren't big on German, it starts out with a pro neo nazi image and statement, and after a washing becomes pro tolerance. The t-shirts were given out by a group who teaches neo nazis tolerance and shows them a way other than extremism.

Story can be found here.

Why does Ebert insist upon plausibility in his movie reviews? It seems like 9/10 reviews I see by him on rotten tomatoes says something to the effect of "it's not plausible". So what? Isn't that more or less the definition of fantasy?

He loved Dark City. I guess he finds psychic aliens with a space ship designed like a city plausible.

I've seen a series of ads from Nissan that basically state "BUY OUR CARS, BECAUSE TOYOTA AND HONDA HAS SOLD OUT, AND WE HAVE INVENTORY." I hear that and think... "WE CAN'T SELL ANY OF OUR CRAP CARS."

Sorry, huge files. Here's one more. I'll leave it as a thumbnail so I don't up the load time for this page any more.

Anyone who's my friend on Facebook, it would be really cool if you could also become a Fan of my oil paintings.

Over the weekend I'll be uploading all progress pictures of my latest painting, which you might find interesting even if the finished piece is already on the forum. :) But there will be further updates tere in the future as I start new paintings.

Please and thanks. :)

WTF PETA? Seriously, what is wrong with you?
PETA To Promote Itself With Porn Site

It's not the porn that has me confused. No, I expect that from PETA. Sex sells, and they whore themselves out as best they can. What gets me is this part "It will have enough adult content to qualify for the XXX domain site but also some other graphic images of animals that viewers may not expect to see," a rep for PETA explains.

Is PETA trying to create some bizarre new fetish? Some moron with no knowledge of psychology thought this bit up.

I am trying to find a job and I was looking on this website. There was a job listed as "cardiovascular disease" that's it. That is what the job is called. Hehe I know it is a medical position of some sort but it still cracked me up. I could do THAT!

I went to one of those "how to spot signs of/prevent sexual abuse" workshops for my job, and I haven't been able to shake the feeling that I've met one of the offenders in the educational video. He looks so familiar, and it's creeping me out. I bet a lot of people feel like that, though, since they spend a lot of the class stressing that they look like everyday people and could be anybody.

Thanks. It was so sad to see, and it does make me look at people differently. This program is partly (not completely) in place due to an actual scandal at a private school in this town with a woman who one of my little cousins liked and trusted (he wasn't involved, thank God). The training video's kind of still playing in my head. The descriptions of how they managed to get away with things are horrible, and they speak so casually about it. No shame.
